hmm so, new phone, rooted and romed fine, installed superSU, it wanted updated so i said to it fine, it said all good but now i want a reboot. i hit yes. it restarts and boot animation starts............. and its not stopping. how long to wait before i need try forcing it off? its been a good 15min plus (i wasnt counting)?
and 1 cuppa soup later....... after forcing off then powering on, still just boot animation.
Edit: went into twrp and reflashed su zip, then booted up fine so who knows what the issue was

You have the option to activate one SIM and deactivate the other one? This option didn't exist 2 weeks ago..
how to save viber text and picturer while switchin to LOS?
Hi,
my understanding is that when one switches from one OS (OOS) to another (Lineage OS), viber will reinstalled and then you can only recover viber text messages, as provided viber backup/recovery feature.
This viber feature does not support picture messages backup/recovery. Anyone has succeeded to backup/recober all viber messages?
The same question for watsapp.

I have no viber, but whatsapp does restore everything, but media is kept in local folder and can be backed up separately.

I'm not using any. Only nova launcher. Do you think this could the reason of some settings fc?
so, was running a titianium restore of appas from old phone and i noticed that the screen went black, the phone is still on as if i touch anything the two hardware buttons light up and if i hald the power button the power options appear on screen, but otherwise the screen is all black.

Hi guys,
Finally able to pair new devices on Bluetooth! Turns out like others mention on this topic the Fitbit app is the one causing the issue.
So far removing(!) the Fitbit app, pair new device(s), re-installing Fitbit app is the only workaround working for me.
After re-installing the app, the Bt devices pair without any issues, only I'm unable to pair or disable/enable Bt because this freezes the screen.
Disabling 'All day sync'/'Always connected' in the Fitbit app doesn't fix the issue and doesn't resolve the freezing problems on the Bluetooth screen.
Maybe this should be reported as a bug, although I don't have any other app to test that uses Bt for a smartwatch.

I don't recommend restoring apps, only the data. Is it a different phone you're restoring from?
You should be able to get the phone working in Fastboot/recovery-mode.
so add the apps all back manually? is there a way to batch do them as there is over 300?

Anyway it should work, but maybe you've restored a system app. I use a Google account to restore the apps and import the data manually/use sync accounts. Don't know what apps you're running and if they support sync.

First time flashing LineageOS 14.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
- Download the zip(s)
- Install a compatible Recovery (See #2 for details)
- Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Flash LineageOS
- Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package, install the SU addon package(https://download.lineageos.org/extras, choose arm64)
- Reboot

- New builds (after 2017/1/15) uses F2FS backported from 4.10 kernel, you may meet compatibility problems such as deadlocks, if you do, flash TWRP provided in OP and choose "Wipe -> Format Data" to format(not just wipe) your /data partition, this will clean the entire /data partition, including the emulated sdcard, so don't forget to backup your data before. After that, your data partition will be formatted into ext4, if you want to keep using f2fs, just convert fs type normally in TWRP.
[*]For oneplus3, my unofficial TWRP is recommended, as it's what I use. For 3T, TWRP 3.0.4 is recommended. - As of 2017/6/17, official TWRP for OnePlus 3(https://dl.twrp.me/oneplus3/) is updated with latest LineageOS kernel and OxygenOS decryption stuff, it builds against Omni 7.1.2 and supports both op3&3t, now it's the recommended recovery.
- 20170120 build includes sdcardfs, security fixes and camera fixes&improvements, touch to focus is fixed as well, if it's still not working, clean Snap's data. BTW N kernel source is released now, I'll take days to bring up, don't ask for ETA.
- Regarding installation, we recommend that users wipe when switching to LineageOS, and reinstall their gapps. - Started from lineage-14.1-20170207-nightly-oneplus3-signed.zip, we provide unified builds for both 3&3T, and you need to install certain firmware to pass the TrustZone assertion. Currently they're the OxygenOS Open Beta 19/11 ones. As oneplus won't update them every time new OTAs are rolling out, firmware from other versions might also pass the assertion.

Make a nandroid backup before you proceed
Flash the following files using the latest official twrp to avoid any recovery related issues.
Make sure to do a clean flash if your rom requires an updated firmware.
Don't ever flash an oneplus3 firmware on oneplus3t or an oneplus3t firmware on oneplus3.

btw I won't rebrand the thread until LAOS is a thing51Today I switched the kernel to the LA.UM based one, and merged patches for op3t support.
It means, the NEXT weekly will be a unified build for both op3 and op3t.
As we're not shipping radio images now, you may need to install the latest OOS radio images to pass the TZ assertion.
