[ROM][OFFICIAL][WEEKLY] LineageOS-15.1 for Google Nexus 4 (mako)

Does anyone have a problem adding new wifi hotspots that are hidden ? I have a hidden and a regular hotspot from the same router with the encryption same settings (AES, WPA2, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), but this firmware isn't able to find the hidden one. I previously had NitrogenOS 7.1 installed and there was no problem.

If anyone still cares, this should be fixed in upcoming nightly.

Hi, first of all, I want to thank the many developers that make such a great ROM possible for mako! I'm having difficulties when using the CallRecording feature that was (re-)introduced in the dialer since a few releases. Tried the 30.10. and the 6.11. release. Enabled call recording via the Xposed XCallRecordingSettings Module.
CallRecodring is then available (and legal in Austria) in the dialer. Also the record audio file is written. But the file only contains my own voice and not the voice of my call partner. Has anyone made the same discovery?

Thats why call recording is disabled for this device, because it doesn't work properly.

Does anyone has bootloops when using LOS-15.1 >2018/11/14 ? Only 2018/11/14 works for me all newer builds rebooting in recovery after los boot logo spinning 2-3 minutes. Tried clean flash without gapps and it works, with gapps installed only 2018/11/14 build boots fine, also gapps version doesn't matter.
EDIT: Dunno what it was, but flashing gapps 3 times in a row fixed issue for me

Sounds like a stupid question, but do we pass safetynet? I searched the thread but didn't found anything.

if you dont have root you will pas safety net.also if you isntall magisk an then download hte safetnet check iwithin magisk you wil also pas safety net.this is my media device as i have now retired it for the 1plus 6 and 6 t devices. its been a good ride having cyanogen mod and lienage buidls on tehie device.kept he device around for a long itme on roms fora good 6 years.now figured it was time to move on ot a newe device as it ws showing its age and les and les developer support for the device.so now have the 1plus 6 and 6t devices an will have more support for longer years to come as these devices are project trebble ready and mor easier to build roms for. so good by and it was a nice ride for what the nexus devices and custom roms gave hem. time ot move onand now the nexus devices are now retired on lineage.

I'm using custom partitioning for mako, just to make /system partition bigger. And for some reason after Nov17 build after I flash ROM, make resize /system partiton fs it contains ext4 fs errors, so my "workflow" to flash new build is next:
- Reboot to TWRP
- Format /system
- Flash ROM
- Resize FS
- Check /system fs for errors multiple times
- flash nano gapps, also checking /tmp/recovery.log for Read-only fs

Hello guys, is there any wai to enable voice amtch on Google app with this ROM? I managed to install opengapps mini (using gapps-config.txt) managed to install speech, and then downloaded Google and GoogleTTS from Google play. But is still not working.

I notice my phone has issues playing back 1440p and 1080p 60FPS videos stored o the phone. is it the rom issue or that the phone is just too slow?

in addition, does anybody else experience random phone shutdowns?

thanks for this great ROM, it works very fluent and stable.
I only have one issue. If I call someone the screen turns black and if I try waking it up with the power button it directly turns black again, which makes hanging up pretty hard. Does anyone expirience this too and has an idea how to fix it?

Most probably it's issue with your proximity sensor. To confirm, You can flash any other ROM and check the behaviour.

I'm not sure about the N4 but with my N6 I can activate ending calls using the power button.
Go to Settings > System > Buttons > Power menu

I only use my phone for basic things but for calls texting internet on WiFi and data works for me hotspot also works too idk about any other features I'm a basic user on 2-16-19 nightly rooted with magisk and a substratum theme installed

Here is dialer with option to disable proximity sensor (I have it broken, thought it'll be useful for someone).
Zip is flashable, it should survive lineage updates.
Tested only on Lineage 15.1, maybe it'll work with other oreo roms.

Just my experiences I'm on lineage 15.1
3-22-19 build rooted with magisk and google fi works without any hitches unlike a lot of other ROMs.

I'm a basic user but I haven't had any sod or soft reboots very stable ROM. :victory:

Not tested cast or bluetooth.

Edit Over three days uptime still stable and very smooth. Is daily driver material.

Updated to 4-5-19 build still just as stable

Gapps giving error 20 while flashing!!

So this is my first time flashing custom rom that i was really fascinated about after using ios for 4 years so i dust off my old nexus 4 and entered this new world!! ( and its awesome) Everything went smoothly upto flashing LOS 15.1 (thanks to Xda forum & ton of guides and vid online) but when it comes to flashing open gapps it shows error 20 (basically tells me this gapps is for 8.1x use gapps for 5.1.1) which is bizzar because I already flashed LOS successfully. So pls ignore my ignorance and guide me to resolving this error! thanks
