Just wait for today's build. I was able to free some megabytes and gapps pico installs fine again and even some megabytes are free for future updates.
The 5/10 version witout Google TTS worked for me and I was able to start setting up apps and settings again.I tried upgrading too, yesterday, and I ran into the GApps no-space problem as well. Nano and pico just wouldn't install. MindTheGapps installed, but left the device in an unusable state with non-stop crashing Pixel setup. I'll try again with the smaller 5/10 version of GApps pico.
Otherwise seems to be working just fine. Thanks to the dev team."There is no option to change the position of the clock in the status bar and also to change the shape of the battery icon?"
Try using channel other than 36 if you have unstable 5 ghz connection, for exmple, channel 149, seems to work fine, not sure why it's unstable on 36.5 GHz WIFI band now shows up with 5/14 build, but is unstable. My phone connects to 5 GHz band for a few seconds, then drops the connection and falls back to the 2.4 GHz band. A minute or so later, it reconnects to the 5 GHz band, only to start over with disconnecting. I can only reliably stay connected by choosing the 2.4 GHz band. My SSIDs are different (same base name, 5 GHz has a "5" attached to the name).
Other than that, the build runs quite fine so far. I've not experienced unexpected failures, app crashes or spontaneous restarts while installing my usual set of apps. I need to spend some more time configuring them all and then put the device to standard usage patterns. Not sure about battery drain so far due to heavy WIFI use and constantly powered-on display.
I like how LineageOS looks even more like vanilla Android now.
Hmm, do you have LTE modded radio installed? It's not the first time i see report of random reboots. But i don't have any, most people here also don't seems to have any. Could be damaged battery though.Maybe it's just my phone, but it suffers unexpected restarts, as it only takes a few minutes in applications such as instagram, twitter, etc.
When choosing the system colors, they are only reflected in the configuration and in the status bar, in the menu follow the default color in addition to other sections. (I'm a little picky)
I couldn't change the user profile image from the configuration, error when loading any image. I could do it from the contacts application, in the section of my information.
There is no option to change the position of the clock in the status bar and also to change the shape of the battery icon?
No options for the lock/unlock button? For example, add the button to make screenshots.
Otherwise the performance is excellent, a great job! Congratulations!!
Excuse the ignorance, how do I check that setting?Hmm, do you have LTE modded radio installed? It's not the first time i see report of random reboots.
I knew that this option exists but I have not installed any modem, I had previously installed another rom with 7.1.1 no Lineage and had activated LTE for testing, this configuration is activated?Hmm, do you have LTE modded radio installed? Check baseband version in settings, if i remember correctly, modded radios had outdated version.Excuse the ignorance, how do I check that setting?
My Baseband version:Check baseband version in settings, if i remember correctly, modded radios had outdated version.
Can you get an output of /proc/last_kmsg next time you get a reboot? My Baseband version:
M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0.1701.07
adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg
Can you get an output of /proc/last_kmsg next time you get a reboot?
You'll need a PC for it though, and adb installed and adb debugging enabled in developer settings, then just:
If there is no /proc/last_kmsg then it likely means that it was a power failure, most likey damaged battery.Code:adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg
Check /proc/last_kmsg first. It still could be a kernel panic somewhere. It may be due to the age of the phone.
I'm going to try and find out whether or not a battery replacement is needed.
Could a calibration work?
My neighbor's wifi uses channel 36, mine is on the other end of the range, around 148 (can't remember the exact channel right now). Anyway, I yesterday noticed that the 2.4 GHz band is also a bit unstable, something which is not very evident. While downloading larger navigation maps, the connection broke off several times and a notification for signing into the mobile network appeared repeatedly (the SIM in that phone currently has no mobile data). Previously (with LOS 14.1), a single dismissal of the message was sufficient while staying in range of the wifi.Try using channel other than 36 if you have unstable 5 ghz connection, for exmple, channel 149, seems to work fine, not sure why it's unstable on 36.
Check /proc/last_kmsg first. It still could be a kernel panic somewhere.
No errors detected
Boot info:
Last boot reason: reboot
Is that the full log? There is nothing else?Code:No errors detected Boot info: Last boot reason: reboot
Here it is.Is that the full log? There is nothing else?
Well, no kernel panics, no crashes, just a normal reboot cmd. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It could be previous last_kmsg log though as if it was a power failure, the log woudn't be overwritten in presistent RAM. Something with your phone hardware perhaps, maybe battery. Here it is.
