You need to flash the latest bootloader and vendor.img (drivers and such), at the minimum.
Thanks!
Flashed the bootloader, vendor and updated TWRP. Then in recovery I installed CM13 nightly, GApps and Xposed, cleared delvik/cache.

Seems okay apart from a "corruption message" during boot.

That should only happen once. I think it means /data is unencrypted and will now become encrypted.

Looking for two last CM12.1 nightly builds which were removed from CM web site. I appreciate if someone can provide download for the following two loads.

cm-12.1-20151210-NIGHTLY-flounder_lte.zip
cm-12.1-20151210-NIGHTLY-flounder.zip

Thanks in advance!

I'm getting the message every time I boot up. Not a real problem as I hardly even reboot, but it would still be nice to get rid of it.
Bump
I'm getting the same message as well on every reboot ( screenshot attached )
I'm not too concerned with it as it doesn't seem to affect anything, just curious to find out if this is normal behavior or if I did something wrong.

I'm not getting a message after boot up like you, mine is during boot up, before the CM loading animation.

Similar to the attached image.

I tried this, I first flashed the bootloader and then the vendor.img. The only problem i have now is that when I boot into TWRP it asks me for a password to decrypt data. When I insert my PIN it doesn't work, I also tried default_password and password. The thing is that I can't flash cm13 if I can't access my data. Is there a way around this? Because I also don't want to lose my backups.

Update your twrp to 2.8.7.1. Or use usbhost's twrp. That issue is well documented and solved in the latest twrp.

Rotating homescreen

Does screen rotate work for anyone on the homescreen using one of the last nightlys? I updated from a 20151222 to 20160130, and now screen rotate works in apps, but not on the homescreen.
