Just curious, is this bug so hard to solve or there is a reason it is around?

Thanx for the info.

Hard to say, i wasn't focusing on that one yet. If it's android problem then it will take me some more time, since I'm not very familiar with android code. If it's fixable in kernel then I can fix that faster (probably). I suspect it's android fault since 10.1 and atrics both don't have that problem.

One thing I'd like to mention about modem. There are two problems that might occur. First is modem reset/shutdown that makes phone unusable (can't make calls), second is usb data modem shutdown (in deepsleep) that stops internet connection. Those are two separate issues. I'm now dealing with the first one.

Heavy traffic of data causes modem dead. So it is unusable for daily use as i uses as internet modem. That near to final. Thanks Krys.....

I have a Sony xperia zl now and it shows the same behaviour. It is not always, just sometimes... I tried to push power button several times (I can hear the close efect) but without luck.

So, I think the problem comes from this version of android (4.1/4.2)

SDcard swap

Haven't found this in FAQ...
SD card mounting appears to be swapped in this ROM, external mounted as sdcard0 and internal as sdcard1. Any way to restore original mounting ?

Here is repacked kernel to be compatible with cm10.1 made for 3.1.10 kernel. I didn't test it so try it at your own risk but should be fine :)

debug_kernel_cm10.1

Remember, this is cm9 topic, so do not complain or report any bug here.

p.s.
I'm going to post the same link in cm10.1 topic, so you can report (not complain) there.
