@kirbyNx I just want to personally say thank you so much for the time, effort and everything you've been through to make this phone such an amazing experience. The things you've done are so gracefully appreciated.

Firstly seeing Knox gone completely just made my day, waste of battery and resources, the speed and stability incidently leading to huge battery performances is awesome. That mint touch with the Samsung galaxy themes so you can trial a paid theme permanently is just icing on the cake.

It's been a while since I've been in the rom and root game, not since the Galaxy Note one and CM11. The only thing I'm not winning with is the b***ard barclays app....can't seem to cloak root and I've tried a couple of addons to magisk and even magisks own built in root hider where it renames its process and so on, I just can't crack it....so no Batclays app for me but a worth It sacrifice.

You don't need an account with barclays to see it either, as soon as you setup a pass code at the beginning you run into an issue.

There is nothing I can suggest or request with this rom to be added, simply perfect. Love your work and thanks again so much!

Hi, thank you for the beautiful work!

I have a Galaxy A70 FN, I managed after some difficulties to install the rom and it runs wonderfully! The only problem I have is with installing Magisk.

Forgive me if this is a noob problem, but on this thread you wrote:
"Do not install the magisk from the ROM if you will use stock kernel, it WILL NOT BOOT".
I never touched the kernel, but I didn't read this line before flashing and installed magisk anyway from the ROM. It booted successfully anyway, but after a moment Magisk's App had "Superuser" and "Modules" entries disabled. I checked your instructions again. I felt dumb.

I wiped and reflashed the ROM from scratch, without installing Magisk. Now it is running perfectly again, even if without Magisk.

How should I do to install Magisk? I know there is this XDA guide:
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-magisk/
But the guide has options for:
1) roms with flashable zips like LineageOS
2) instructions for samsung devices, which involve downloading, patching and flashing the stock firmware, which I suppose would then override the ROM I just installed.

I opened the Swx .zip and the necessary files to patch are not present, so option 1 is not possible, option 2 seems wrong in principle to me.

Years ago I remember I could simply flash the Magisk zip from twrp, but as told in the guide, it is not possible/recommended anymore, especially on newer devices.

As a last resort I suppose I can try to flash a custom kernel, and then I can install Magisk directly during the ROM flashing, am I right?

What should I do? A big thank you

EDIT:
I was able to install the last Magisk apk from twrp and it seems to work perfectly. Still I would like to understand how one should proceed if twrp flashing wouldn't be possible.

Hello, I ran into some problem, it's not critical, but it's annoying.

I just want to say first of all hats off to the dev @kirbyNx for the huge effort into giving FN users some nice ROM, second of all to all those who complain, and kinda share hate for a living so to speak, it seems that a lot of people doesn't understand that devs they work their asses off, they put in time, effort, and consistency into giving the community something better than what the phone comes with. Now if you aren't capable of understand that, then simply don't say anything. And for those who "love" the whole "OneUI is rubbish, OneUI this OneUI that" c'mon folks, if you don't like Samsung or their devices, gifted or bought either sell them or don't say anything. Seems that a lot of fellas here enjoy sending hate, creating dramas and their wonder why devs quit... C'mon, community can be a lot better, it has been in the past. So do yourself a favour and if you don't know anything related to development just don't engage into hate... But yeah it's simpler to just type in some unecessary stuff rather than just you know be glad at least you have something for the device, that's already better than nothing.

That said, I hope you guys kinda stop being so rude, and start showing some respect, the devs deserve it, users too but devs they barely get some respect.
