Maybe just follow the instructions?! You need to do the full wipe and the factory reset, otherwise you get the Error 7.
The other solution with deleting the device name does not work.

Alert Slider and DASH charging does not work (at least for me), otherwise pretty stable and fast.

For me it just worked directly while following the instructions. Pretty simple and without any problems.

No, because the feature is based on closed source.

For me it is charging with 1500mAh connected to Dash Charger and Cable, even slower than 2100mAh from other devices.
