You need to unlock bootloader incase to flash any custom file.

could someone confirm that ver 4.0 works on a40 and possibly re-upload the file or share thru google drive ? the file downloaded from mega does not work and google drive is not available for download...
With the updated version the device does not boot. The file download from Mega and tested today.
