Root is OK

There is definitely something wrong with the root. Magisk says that root is installed and activated but it's not giving any prompts whatsoever. Had to reflash earlier rom @corsicanu

Tried that still doesn't show a prompt for apps that require it. Even tried downgrading magisk

You sure you have the setting set to "promt" instead of "allow" on root request in Magisk?

Yeah it was set to prompt initially, then I even tried setting it too allow, no difference.

Yep, I can confirm something is wrong with root. Apps that were already installed that need root are no problem (root explorer, titanium backup etc) but trying to install new apps that need root is impossible and tells me I'm not rooted (when I am)

So if I do a upgrade install, then titanium will still work as long as its installed and activated on previous version? I did a clean install last time.

Yes as far as I know, but it's not really a fix only a workaround

I think there's an issue with Nice Shot in this rom. It won't allow me to record videos from screenshot like I was able to on stock. Any idea how to get that feature back?

I had the same issue. After clean install magisk itself is working, but it isnt showing any root prompts. Doesnt matter what app. Testet nearly Every root App that i have had on other Roms. I thought about using another Version of magisk, so in magisk Manager i chose to download v 20.1. I used direct install. After that magisk Manager always Shows that it is Not installed. IT Doesnt matter if i go to recovery and choose reboot rec. Or of i use Button combo. Magisk is lost after downgrade try

Still no clock on lockscreen (S10e)

Just updated using the wipe option in aroma, everything is smooth as usual with that great rom except for those issues that should appear on the OP :

- no clock on lockscreen
- Root lost (fixed by installing canary Magisk Manager thx to @Vatt`ghern)

Answer to previous questions :
- The battery life is excellent
- Stable as stock
- Can be used as daily driver
- Netflix works

Did you try to restert to twrp after flashing magisk root zip file? Try that.. Good luck

Yes thank you. This was the Trick canary Manager installed and everything is working wonderful

I did so, even uninstalled any previous versions but still no working Magisk version on my device nor root...
Can you please explain me how we can step by step fix this root issue?.
Also my phone is recognized as G975F

Try that :
0- Uninstall any magisk manager you have
1- Reboot to TWRP
2- Flash regular Magisk (V20.1)
3- In TWRP hit reboot/recovery
4- Install magisk manager canary version APK
5- The manager will ask you to install, do it and don't reboot when asked
6- Reboot by pressing power button and hitting "reboot" (not by hitting yes when magisk manager asks you)

If that does not work mabe try the cleaning zip provided by the canary thread and redo steps from 0 (did not try it myself)
