What partitions would you backup in twrp to create a backup incase things become broken?

Also, can we update magisk, or will It break things?

Backup only images and data. U can update magisk with direct install from mm, no issues.

root isnt working well permissions are granted fine but im unable to uninstall an app from system and also apps the need real root permission all fail at request for example i use typeface to execute system wide font change but due to the issues with root it tries altering the system but after reboot no change is executed
im using magisk canary 20

Sorry i don't know, actually i use smalipatcher to mock gps, i have traied lucky patcher but not so much you can try it... hay do you need spoof sig?

Doesn't work on Pie. But MicroG is exactly my problem

Edit: I managed to get it working by using FakeGAPPs (EdXposed module).

Its because of this:

/system is no longer a valid mount point. For existing root apps that remounts /system to rw, you will have to remount / instead of /system

The app you are using to execute sytemwide font change doesn't properly mount i take.
Same with some root explorers and build.prop editors from the playstore.
Will take some time to adept to this latest Magisk implementation i think.

i dont know what i did wrong but whenever i select reboot recovery phone boots to the recovery partition instead of the rooted rom

same issue here, youtube vanced stuck on the welcome screen , i delete the apk and reinstal it, same result.
ok, i solve it
update youtube on playstore,uninstall the update, launch youtube vanced and wait, notification appear: search for incomplet download, it's all.

Install instructions:

  - coming from any other setup than hadesRom, full wipe is mandatory - Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data (or select wipe in Aroma options)
• Use reboot recovery button to boot up rooted

What i mint that when you uninstall the update, you launch vanced youtube and wait for notication: search for incomplet download, after this notification appears, re-launch your youtube, and everything will be ok, it's solved the problem for me

New 1.1 version working correctly on S10e. Going to test if everything works, just flashed rom.

One thing I noticed, during the initial wizard, adding a fingerprint crashed. But after wizard I could successfully add a fingerprint so no biggie.
