Hi.
I sold my OnePlus X to a friend with LineageOs on it (it was one of the very first version, in mid January I think).
Yesterday he told me that he can't aupdate the ROM. I looked at it and indeed, after the ROM was downloaded, I clicked on install and the phone said "unable to reboot in recovery mode". I tried to dirty flash it in TWRP but it gave me en error message.
Since I have changed my phone two month ago, I'm totally unaware of Lineage OS news since then. Is this problem already known?
Maybe he has to clean flash a recent version of the ROM?

Known problem, download the update from the site and install it via recovery.

Go to /data/data/org.lienageos.updater (or similar)/app_updates/something.zip

Flash the package from there or move it to internal or SD card.

It's a knows bug BTW

No, you need to to that every time you need to flash an update

Just tell him to mannually download from a computer, put it on the phone and flash via TWRP.

@drmdsadiq, Had the same issue, see here :https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70947372&postcount=803 , https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71041489&postcount=949 . I got no news about this issue. I'm now on 14/02 and did not get the issue again for now. But there is definitively something causing it to appear...

Do you remember something you did before getting this issue ?

@ashwin007 @drmdsadiq I got more info about this issue. I got it again yesterday. And the day before, I did just re-organize my system profiles, so this is definitively linked to this feature. When I had the home key and recent app key not working, I went to the system profiles settings and I saw that the phone was not in the correct system profile, as if it was "stuck" in a profile. I manually changed the phone to another system profile, and tadaaaaa the home key and the recent app key started working again ! Unfortunately, I was not home nor at work when the issue appeared so I was not able to grab log, but I will do if this happens again.

U seem to have hit the nail.on the head man so to speak.. coz now that I think of it.. I had also played around with profiles and set up custom profiles right before this issue came up.. after reflashing the ROM I haven't touched the profiles as I haven't found the time to and it's been working fine so far...

Ah guys , sorry that I couldn't pull of some time for merging the fixes (merged it now however). As I said I'm having my public exams going on and it is really important for me to concentrate on it (atleast now ) .I hope you guys understand . However if there are 'build breaking' changes , I will try my best to resolve it

So this weird thing happened on 1402.. everything was fine when all of a sudden my earpiece and mic went dead... Like I couldn't hear the other person and other person couldn't hear me... Tried using WhatsApp calling on wifi to see if it was a network issue but no go.. did a restart still nothing worked..

Finally did a clean flash of 0203 and all fine for now.. best part is I got the Google Assistant without the build.prop edit..

Running 03/02 with nano gapps, root enabled and arsenic. Anyone got an idea on what's wrong? Will try to get a log later when I get home(long day of lectures -__-)

Edit: using 2 sims. The problem has to do with the main sim

Edit 2: data works if I reset apn to default, then open and save the apn

This is a known issue, many are facing this ( even me ). We'll have to wait for it to be fixed

0302 build too, clean install, micro gapps, no problems at all with lte, with both stock and arsenic kernel
