Well, just tried eva on the latest build and...no it doesn't
5.4.242-eva-r2b2-nqgki-g15f1078e34e2
#1 Wed Apr 26 18:19:30 UTC 2023 is what I have installed and the rom build is TQ2A.230405.003.E1
Nameless-AOSP_lemonade-13.0-20230426-0423-Official and double tap to wake works flawlessly from blank screen and aod if I have it enabled. Check your settings, it might be turned off somewhere.

It was turned on, it stopped working right after the previous update without me changing anything and it wasn't fixed for me after the hotfix update.
I flashed the bluspark kernel and it fixed dt2w, again, without me changing any setting. So nah it wasn't me.

Great so the kernel did fix it! Next time try latest eva found here https://github.com/mvaisakh/oneplus9pro/releases - the latest one from 3 days ago, as of this writing, has working dt2w also

Well, just tried eva on the latest build and...no it doesn't.
Edit: credit where credit is due, bluspark did. Thanks.
You need eva kernel release 2 at least, release 1 doesn't include fix for dt2w:
eva kernel release 2
This custom kernel only supports Android 13 based custom roms that use the OxygenOS 13 firmware. OxygenOS/ColorOS 11/12/13 and Realme UI 4.x are still unsupported as of now.

What's new!

Latest upstream (5.4.241)
Latest Android Security bulletin merged (ASB-2023-04-05_11-5.4)
Samsung RMNET extension for better network throughput
Fixed double tap to wake on OnePlus 9
Fixed userspace irq balance crashes
Buffer allocation optimisations
Clang builds are now built with Polly Optimisations
I'm using release 2 on my phone with latest rom and dt2w works just fine.

This is the one I flashed:

Are you using pixel launcher? I used to have battery drain issue with pixel launcher, then I switched to nameless launcher and battery drain is normal. Latest update says pixel launcher's battery drain issue is fixed but I never switch back to test.

Idle drain is about 0.3%/hr according to FKM, with naptime enabled.

Is CodeRed or Eva kernel better for this ROM in terms of battery backup, efficiency & performance? Has anyone tested and compared?

With the new build, is anybody else having issues with some apps opening up in a small window instead of full screen? The Settings app does this consistently, but other apps just once in a while.
    Settings / System / Pop-up View

That's my thought as well, stick with this until ROMs based on new OOS firmwares start coming out, then look through the options and find one I can live with.

I thought this ROM was discontinued? Is this the last update or will it receive more? @chandu dyavanapelli ?
