A13 release is butter smooth! Very well done, thank you @chandu dyavanapelli

Bugs found so far:
  • Not sure if bug or A13 change: AoD charging info do "fade in" animation everytime charging time approx time is changed.
  • Fingerprint icon is not shown when any application requesting authorization. But fingerprint reader is working anyway if you provide finger so it's only visual bug.

@chandu dyavanapelli

Much appreciate for your amazing work done for Nameless rom and specially porting OOS camera.

There is bug, recording in 4k 60fps and 120fps cuasing the phone reboot into crash dump.

About fingerprint, this only happens when the screen resolution is 1080p FHD+. In QHD+ it works.

I've noticed that often background apps seem to get cleared out of memory. In the change notes of Nameless, I saw that there was a 'background process killer' implemented. Could this be the cause, and if so, can it be disabled? I have the 12 GB version of the phone however I rarely see it using more then 8.

Thanks, furthermore I have to say that it's a rock solid ROM! I don't regret my choice :)

Yep, on par and superior at the 12 build in everything. If you search for the battery duration no one can say since it's been released today.
Please can you write the steps on how you upgraded to this build? also did it wipe out all data in the process? Sorry Im a bit new here (im on nameless 12.1 2022-08-31)

You know, when I came from nameless 12 to nameless 13, after first clean flash, I had working fp with icon. I factory reset after setting my phone up, and after the factory reset, I no longer have icon lol. It's okay, fp still works so can't complain.

Have you found out where to enable torch (flashlight) on power button press and AOD while charging?

Hi, thanks for the amazing work. Since you were able to port oos camera from os 12. Would it possible to port the os 11 version since as per my knowledge it was overall better in responsiveness and especially video quality. Thanks again!
There's absolutely no reason for oos11 cam. Also, I'm sure it would be a huge PITA to port an outdated camera to recent firmware. Just be happy with what you got bruh. OOS12 cam via double press power button is almost instantaneous to me. Either port it yourself or use GCam.

Really...? C'mon now.

Being able to read AND understand English should also be in the flashing instructions... 🤦🏻‍♂️
no need to be so hostile.
if i cant read instruction, i wont be able to flash to A12 which i'm current using, cant i?

i'm just asking to be completely sure.
a simple "No" would hav suffice.

There is no option for flashight on power button I think (not found it yet).
AoD while charging can be done via Tasker. These are profiles I use:

I'm on oos13. Can I flash this rom? Or need i downgrade to oos12?
I did it from OOS13 stable. No problems so no need to downgrade.
    2
Already i back to 12.1 , - Why you dont recommend It, It is worse ?
No, i meant for roms over A11, there is now a firmware flasher (starting with C6x) that gets you directly updated to latest 12 OOS version.

I Updated to C.48, so what do I do next? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll walk you through it, the instructions have been so confusing for me but I finally got it working

    -Unlock your bootloader
-When you reboot, skip through setup, enable developer options again and re-enable USB debugging
-Boot into fastboot/bootloader (adb reboot bootloader)

From here, you need to download 5 files
    • dtbo.img
    • vendor_boot.img
    • boot.img
    • latest version of nameless rom
    • copy-partitions-20210323_1922.zip
dtbo.img and vendor_boot.img are found HERE
boot.img and nameless rom are found on the download link in the main post, HERE if you're lazy
    copy partitions zip is found
    HERE

-In fastboot, type these in order
    fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
    fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img
    fastboot flash boot boot.img

Obviously, if the img files aren't in the root adb.exe folder, then you put the path to the file
    E.g - fastboot flash dtbo C:\Users\lol\Desktop\dtbo.img

At this point you've flashed the nameless recovery, and you're still in fastboot. Now you need to boot into the recovery.

-Press the volume down button twice so it says "recovery mode" at the top, then press the power button. You're now booting into the recovery.
-In the recovery, select "Apply Update", then "Apply from ADB"
-On your PC, type in 'adb sideload copy-partitions-20210323_1922.zip' (Or whatever you've named the copy-partitions zip)

This is a script that will copy everything from the current slot into the inactive slot. You NEED to do this if you haven't flashed your OOS update twice. Might as well do it anyway just in case.

-After it's done, click the back button on the top left and get back to the main screen
-Click advanced, then reboot to recovery
-Once it reboots into recovery again, click factory reset and follow the instructions
-When you've factory reset, go back to the main screen again, and go to "Apply Update", then "Apply from ADB" again like you did before
-Type 'adb sideload nameless.zip' (nameless.zip being the rom, type whatever you've called it, and yes you can rename the zip files for ease)
    -Reboot
    -Enjoy

    NOTE:
If you use windows powershell, you might get a 'cannot read' error when flashing the rom
    Try using command prompt instead

When you flash, it might appear as if it's frozen (it was stuck at 47% for me), don't touch it, just leave it and it will install just fine.

If no devices are showing up in fastboot, use this tutorial HERE
