If you can unlock your phone after rebooting to the OS, go to Settings and disable encryption.
If not... well, it gets a bit complicated.

it feels weird to keep asking here since its another version...
at the meantime, how can i change the color temperature? it feels a little yellowish to me, and i wanted to make it colder.. night light if off btw
also, where to edit the lockscreen message? my lockscreen message from oos was restored along with my backup restore

Hi.. I haven't closed that thread. As you know XDA has moved to new interface, some of the database is still not restored. Hope it gets resolved soon.. I am in the same boat as you are. :D

Hey, sorry for asking it here but as the Android R version thread is currently unavailable I thought it'd be okay.

I've installed Pixen OS 11 some days ago (awesome rom, btw!) along with the magisk_debug.zip file, and Magisk Manager is working fine but for some reason I'm not managing to give SU rights to any app. I've tried with QuickSwitch and VIPER4Android modules, and they don't work because when I open them, the pop-up asking me whether I wanna grant or deny SU permissions to these apps never show up. In the end I just receive a toast message informing that the app has been denied SU rights.

I've tried playing with privacy/battery/notification settings of my phone and nothing seemed to work. Any chance I'm doing something wrong, or this is a known issue in the current rom version?

After you flashed the magisk_debug.zip, have you by any chance updated the Magisk Manager itself? Coz that happened to me as well and consequently no more su requests. As long as you use TWRP, there is currently no way of using the latest magisk.zip as well as the latest MM.
Check your MM version. The debug version should be v297 (fbaf2bde).
The latest stable MM is v314 and the latest canary MM is v315.

And regarding the missing PiXeN11 thread, dont' worry, it will come back as soon as the migration process is completely finished and afterwards those missing threads should be restored as well.

Nope, I haven't run any update after installing it. My Magisk version is 21.1 and the MM is 8.0.3, is it correct?

Maybe I should wipe and reinstall everything again?

Are you sure that you flashed the magisk_debug.zip from the OP? Coz that version is not the 21.x version, since it is not compatible with TWRP. So it seems that you did not flash TWRP after you flashed PiXeN? Which might be awkward, since using magisk v21 without TWRP should not create issues with booting and the MM you are using, does not have issues with su requests.
You are running the latest stable MM alongside with the latest magisk beta.
Check your MM update channel.

Yep, even because at first I got confused and flashed by mistake another Magisk file and ended up getting stuck in a bootloop. Then I installed the magisk_debug.zip and it worked. I guess I'll wipe and repeat all the steps again to see if it I'll get the same issue. Will let you know as soon as I finish.

AFAIK the development now is focused on Android 11 version so this version is no longer supported.
If you have questions for PiXen 11, post it that thread.
Edit: new forum is a mess, newer posts did not show until I posted this. UI is also broken.

Is there a way to disable the V gesture which turns on the torch when screen is off ? Can't find where to disable it.

Just a question Would you add oneplus New gaming mode feature(10.3.7) in pixen 10....?? I know you are focusing on a11....

You made this rom so stable and snappy that I would expect one last update from you with new system app updates, security patches and minor bug fixes😍🤩😍🤩

Awesome rom, i didn't faced any particular problem, everything is good, and really good battery life also.

Talking about battery, do you plan to insert smart charging feature in the next builds?
