SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

Slim7 is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 7.1. Nougat and offers the following original features:

Flashing instructions:

Coming from another ROM, OR if a CLEAN FLASH is required
1) Download the Slim7 zip file (See Post #2)
2) Download a 7.1 x64 GApps package(optional)
3) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
4) Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
5) Flash the Slim7 zip file
6) Flash GApps
7) Reboot

Updating from previous Slim6 release if no clean flash is required
1) Download the Slim7 zip file
2) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
3) Flash the Slim7 zip file
4) Reboot
5) Please give first boot a good few minutes

IMPORTANT - PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
If you have issues, I need logs from you (logcat, last_kmsg, dmesg) linked to on pastebin.com or hasteb.in, showing the failure, along with a clear description of the steps that I need to take to exactly reproduce the problem. Please DO NOT complain about problems and offer nothing to help fix it. You will most likely be ignored...

* Pin/pattern lost on dirty flash when security enabled Bugtracker: op3 gatekeeper issue
* Layers will not work as long as substratum team doesn't fix aapt Bugtracker: add substratum

One issue, system UI crashes often when the camera is in use.

Otherwise, great rom! Feels like I'm running a nexus.

hmm, i haven't had camera issues, but i only took a few pics, i will investigate
for that being locked out i will have to reboot a few times i guess, i haven't had that too, but you can always boot into twrp and use the filemanager to delete the 2 keystore files is sys. Don't know the exact ones from my head, i'm on my first coffee

Hi, here is what to do:
Go into TWRP, > Advanced > File manager:

there go to /data/system, and search for the following lines:
-gatekeeper.password.key
-gatekeeper.pattern.key
-locksettings.db
-locksettings.db-shm
-locksettings.db-wal
Delete them,
Done!

And thanks for the official version of the rom, I dirty flashed from the unofficial without issue. 5will clean flash when I've a bit time). Only thing is camera not focussing where you want to.

Confirmed, system crash with camera and when changing to dark theme
2nd sim pin will not register.

because the server builds where already started when i pushed my trees
wi'll be on the Jenkins list for next week

* can't reproduce fc on switching themes (but i'm on a later build)
* camera fc same as above

Hi. I've lost Xposed form dirty flash Slim6 Alpha 0.4 unofficial and there are more bugs form previous version: systemUI, problem with fingerprint at boot . No problem with camera and no force closed.
