I am using this ROM on my D851 and it is very smooth. All my apps are working including OpenCamera front, rear and video. Substratum works, etc. Hope to see more on this ROM but as is it is very nice and qualifies as a daily driver for me.

Appreciate the work, using the VS985 and have tried to install your rom multiple times using various methods, wipes, gapps, kernels, etc.. I can not get the rom to recognize the sim card, skipped to see if there may be a way under settings. Constant random force closes, tried to get log but was unable to get far enough to.. Use to run this as daily driver years ago and would love to shoot some new life into this long lived phone! Again thanks for all your work and hoping that at don't point I'll see this on my phone..

Rootless lg g3 d855

hi, I have flash aoscp 5.1 and I have lost the root access, and twrp recovery. Some idea of how to recover it.
It is a soft and fast rom. Thanks for the hard work.:

AOSCP is not rooted by default.
No idea how you could lose TWRP. Maybe try with Flashify, but be sure it's compatible with Oreo, as you can brick your phone if you're not careful..

I was having build issues at the time so I think the VS985 might not be good. Had to wipe my entire build folder and start again, and been having lots of problems trying to get AOSCP building again.
No idea of an ETA, but I can reassure you I ain't giving up :)

No where in the open does it say we need Mr bump. How can it be installed without having access to twrp? Please advise

You have to flash magisk or supersu with mr. bump for root.
Have no idea how you lost your recovery....what did you do?

well, lg g3 MM v30b, then root, and:
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system,data and cache
- Flash zip
- Flash GApps zip
- Reboot
I do not understand what happened, maybe I'll go back to the initial KDZ and try again. The rom is perfect in the mobile but without root and without the ability to enter recovery, it is fast. Thank you.
***I have another motherboard with [RESURRECTION REMIX] [7.1.2_r29]

I first rooted my device back in May of last year,
don't remember the exact method, but it was using adb. Since then I was running Cypher OS Macchiato 3.6.2 and then 3.6.3 Android 7.1.
For this install, I did a clean wipe data/factory reset everything thru TWRP. Then flashed this rom with TWRP.
I didn't know I needed Mr Bump with SU. Also would not install GAPPS 8 either.
Installed fine, works great just no access to recovery for the root and I can't get the play store so I can't get anything else working yet either. If all else fails, I'll try to root the device again thru adb and start over.
Any other suggestions?
You only need mr bump with supersu.

You still have not explained the exact steps you took to flash. I still do not get how you would have lost recovery.

You can't reboot to recovery or no recovery at all?
Can you boot to recovery by holding power and volume down buttons together?

    Hi guys.
Sorry for the lack of updates.
All us G3 maintainers have been struggling with two major issues, broken sensors and video recording that doesn't work.
We're working on it, well some of my fellow maintainers, as I don't have the time, but for the moment it's slow progress.
I'm not going to disappear, but updates will start flowing as soon as these issues are fixed.
    No idea when though :(

LS990 and VS885 are on the way :)

whenever updating, please also add support for f400 devices.

    Thanks.
OK, I will add it also.
Maintaining the G3 is such a pain. 7 variants to build each time :(
