I'm really a beginner with Magisk, but couldn't find the Camera2 API from the official 16.0 version I installed before either. I see no difference between that version and this 16.3 version. I can, however, check for updates. It looks to be fully functional to me.
Go to google to find that file. 16.3 will fix uncertified device from google.

Heavy battery consumption for Idk what reason. I am using greenify to hibernate all the non-used apps and I am charging the battery 2 to 3 times a day for a normal usage...

The problem is in the OS. You can't have the work around even with different kernel.

Turn off your Wi-Fi unless you absolutely need it (downloading huge file size).

Wi-Fi is the source of the drain.

I got 25% drain over 6 hours standby.

Anyone able to have their device detected via "adb devices"

I'm not sure when was the last time I was able too, and I'm wondering this is the problem with the latest build, or it's because I mess up with the kernel

I can still transfer files between Windows and Phone.

I have tried changing between mode (Charging/MTP/PTP/Audio Source/MIDI), enabling/disabling Android USB Debugging to no avail.

The last option (that I can't do since the option doesn't seem to be accessible) is to revoke Android USB Debugging Authorization.

The case is the same in 2 different machines. Can still transfer files, but ADB doesn't recognize them. They can recognize other device, however my tablet is detected fine.

tl;dr :

fastboot devices can detect the device when in fastboot mode (it says fastboot)
adb devices can detect the device when in TWRP (it says recovery)
adb devices can't detect the device when in system.

Help please?

I'm very sorry I'm not able to give you a more constructive answer, but today I have switched to LineageOS, since CrDroid hasn't had an update recently. During that process I managed to connect my phone's storage at all times to my laptop, while developer options were active.

it didn't work on my phone. It always give google services errors.

I got Google Service Error popup during the first screen of device setup.

But other than that, there isn't any problem now.

Currently restoring my phone settings and apps. I'll see the standby battery drain with Wi-Fi after that.

UPDATE :
I felt the battery drain when Wi-Fi is on is still there.

Small review on 04.27 build :

- The H+ icon is always there now, previously when you're connected in HSDPA+ mode, the icon only pop for a little while and disappear
- There's Xiaomi menu under settings, which contains Vibrator strength controller and Gestures toggles for Ambient Display, Hand wave, Pick up, Pocket, and Proximity wake. I haven't tried all these other than Ambient display.
- There's "Font" settings under crDroid Settings -> Font
- The battery drain when using Wi-Fi is still there, I think. I'll give it another night of standby to test.

@Dobsgw : Could you please tell us how is this Rom compared to AtomicOs?

Just a few different customisations in the crDroid menu compared to the Labs menu.
    Otherwise all good Oreo.
I didn't like Oreo at first but its really grown on me and I cant face Nougat now (which I loved).

The only issue I had was 50% battery drain overnight but I haven't fiddled enough to know why it happened.
Battery stats just said "phone idle"
So I changed firmware to 8.1.25 (suggested in the OP). I had updated to 8.2.1 which can be hit and miss from xiaomi.
And changed some apps to be more battery friendly.
So I'll charge up again and see how it goes.
I also updated to the latest version from this morning so verevka might have tweaked it a bit.
It says deep sleep is working which I believe because during the time I was using the phone battery wasn't draining quickly. Just overnight

I really hope he sticks with crDroid because its fantastic.
Still in beta though so can't fault the battery.
I'm gonna get logs if it happens again

My brief report .. latest build and last global firmware, NFC - Off, L-speed tweaks (battery, processor, etc.)
From 100% - 15% (my apology, I did not do screenshot).. more than 24 hours of use, almost 8 hours of screen-on time. 3% drop overnight, no lags, without crashing any applications, very stable, miui cam work decent (although I'm a layman for photography), gboard works without delay (I'm not sure why .. suddenly it started working as it should) .. quite a good rom, I hope for further development.
