No. If we're talking about Pie Official: after installing the twrp, you need to install the firmware and then the rom. Find the links on the front page of this discussion.

Did you read at least the first post in this thread?
You are trying to use a PIXEL EXPERIENCE rom, so you do NOT need Gapps. They are already installed in the rom.

Thirst thing to do: READ the installation steps found on the first post and you are good to go

Does anyone have a problem receiving calls?
I am not recieving calls, phione doesn't even vibrate or show anything, but I can make phonecalls

If your network has VoLTE make sure you turn it off from the ROM if it's not working for you.

Do phone calls come through on 3g?

If they do and you only miss them on LTE then you can trick the phone into displaying the VoLTE toggle and disable it to get calls working.
(If the toggle is there then just turn it off it is named "Enhanced LTE / 4g" )

Insert a different sim card (I think it may have to be from a network with VoLTE but I'm not sure)
Reboot
Check the mobile network page of settings and you should see a new toggle called "enhanced LTE mode" or similar.
Disable it.
Remove the sim with the phone ON.
Insert original sim.
The menu should now have the Enhanced LTE toggle.
Toggle it off.
It should stay off even with reboots (even though the toggle is gone)

You won't get VoLTE calls but you'll receive calls again!

I really hope this is the fix all solution.
I've had this issue since the start of Pie and found this fix and so far my issue is resolved.

Latest unofficial rom doesn't see my sim card anyone have this issue? I just rebooted and it's gone
ok ı fixed it with putting it removing it like 30 times. Only problems I see now are battery is kinda bad, sometimes phone lags and does random things and can't change the device theme correctly.

Welcome to the goodness of Oreo-Pie. This topic will be dedicated to our bring up of Oreo-Pie for Xiaomi Mi6.

While the feature list will be constantly updated, remember the ROM is in beta stage and would expect logs if you want to report issue.

An AOSP based ROM, with gapps included, and all Pixel stuffs (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation).

    Xiaomi Mi6 Specific Feature Highlights:
    Miui/Google camera

Backup your existing apps and data
    Boot to recovery
    Wipe System
Wipe Userdata, if coming from another ROM
    Flash firmware
    Flash ROM
Flash Magisk for root (if you need)
    Reboot

If after updating GoogleCamera photographs with a pink color, clear the data / cache in the settings of GoogleCamera applications.

A solution for notification toggles being out of their borders on default screen size:
Go to developer options, under the "Drawing" section, set "Smallest width" to 372. The bigger this number, the smaller screen elements get, default size is 360 and 372 is closest number to default that fixes the toggles size issue.
