This is crDroid for Moto G 3rd Generation (Osprey)

is it really better than stock rom...As i have purchased moto g 3rd gen yesterday should i unlock the bootloader in order to improve performance??? need advice

    I had the same problem to, but finally it worked. I did the following steps (TWRP):

    1. Full wipe (Wipe > Advanced > Dalvik+System+Data+Internal+Cache). I have my zips on ExtSD, thats why i also wiped internal.
    2. Flash ROM
    3. Wipe Dalvik+Cache
    4. Flash Gapps (i used latest open gapps pico, "open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20160106.zip" )
    5. Wipe Dalvik+Cache (Again!)
    6. Reboot.
    7. During the setup wizard i disabled all location-services (i read somewhere that there could be an issue with that). You can turn location back on after booting up...

    With this method i managed to install both crDroid and Ressurection (v. 20160103 on both)

    I have no idea what made it work, my guess is step 3 or 7. Step 5 is probably overkill, but why not :) ...

    If it still doesnt work you can delete SetupWizard.apk from TWRP's filemanager (i read somewhere thats whats causing the FCs). From TWRP do the following steps:

    1. Mount > System (must be done!)
    2. Advanced > Filemanger > Delete "System/priv-app/SetupWizard/SetupWizard.apk"
    3. Reboot
