Hi, thank you for keeping my device alive! I see that you provide builds for many other devices as well, so I would like to ask, if these builds are tested at least for successful boot or is it all automated?

P.S. There are still 2 security patches related to the SQLite not merged into 14.1 branch yet, but assigned to the "n-asb-2020-02" topic:

Right because this patch (https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_external_sqlite/+/268257) was dropped this morning.
Awaiting validation of the two previously mentioned...

Edit : build tested on my OSPREY (see attached file)

Hai Eric, I'm currently on your latest los14.1.. But the thing is I ised to use different font modes on all roma even offcial los and other oreo and pie roms.. They all worked flawlessly.. But after switching to your builds, although all other type of modules seem to work, none of the font modules are working.. I tried AVfonts, other developer made font modules, none seem to work.. This was also an issue in your previous builds but I thought may be next build fixes it.. But the issue seems to persist.. Can U please check it out? Magisk version is 20.3 and and the fonts work with this version on other roms no matter the android version, except for custom Q builds.. But I think thats because so much of font choice are built in for them but los14.1 doesn't..

I have Lineage 17.1 after installing marshmallow stock rom (marshmallow firmware is requirement for 17.1) on XT1550 2GB. But marshmallow firmware has caller echo issue. (the other caller can hear their own voice, regardless of any network). Lollipop firmware does not have this echo problem. (this echo problem is not present in stock lollipop ROM).

Does this build of Lineage OS 14.1 require marshmallow firmware or lollipop firmware?
(if it works directly on lollipop firmware, it would be great! :fingers-crossed:)

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Installation
    Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a custom recovery

    1. Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
    2. Reboot in Bootloader Mode
    3. Go to "Recovery" (Vol +/Vol -) and confirm (power)
    4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
    5. Wipe Dalvik cache
    6. Install the ROM zip
    7. DO NOT REBOOT
    8. Install the Gapps zip (optional)
    9. Reboot

    N.B. Official LineageOS builds are unrooted, if you want this feature back flash su (arm) (available here) then enable root access from Settings -> Developer options.
    Unroot is even easier, just flash "su removal" package available at the previous linked page.

    It does seem that the question comes mainly from clowns members with very few posts (often just 1) and from a specific region.

    Not much we can do apart from deleting as they appear. I would request that other members who enjoy the normal interaction/collaboration in this thread avoid responding to the VOLTE and ETA Spam-ish posts and let me just delete them. I know the temptation to lambast them is high!!! You can probably guess what I would LIKE to say to them...

    I'm releasing an unofficial LineageOS build which should improve GPS thanks to working Glonass. It should also have fixed the data toggling issue, let me know please. Additionally it includes updated sdcardfs, wlan drivers and fixes many security holes.
    I didn't actually want to release this because it's not yet clear if we will provide upgrading paths from CM14.1 (read dirty flash) or not but people already built it, so it doesn't matter anymore. Also I really wanted to know if the data issue is finally fixed since I wasn't able to reproduce it many times here.
    I'm going to rename the thread once official LineageOS builds starts. Hopefully it's clearer for those who still can't understand that we are just rebranding. Same people, same code but different name and infrastructures.
