Development [ROM][OSS][12.1] LineageOS 19.1 for Xiaomi 11T Pro (vili)

Search This thread
the same happened to me. Still u can install apps
1. Go to browser
2. Copy this link and paste it. https://m.apkpure.com (i trust this website because i have been downloading apps there like newpipe.)
3. u can now search your own app there and download it

Note: It might show as bin after downloading an app, if this happens try to install older version of the same app. (It might also show there is no app to open this link)

The ROM is still unofficial and it might have bugs but its stable and safe to use

Alternative link is here: https://www.apkmirror.com/ (apkmirror is different from apkpure and it should not have any issues
I know how to download apks man 😕

I just think there is a sort of problem with google services

could it be because I didn't do the wipe and only formatted data (as written in the instructions)?

Wipe will not do anything. Fortunately most apps do not need google play services. I could not find any of Gapps to sideload. Lineage os doesn't have Gapps and has less system apps it could be because:
1. To make it look more exclusive (Less Bloatware = higher performance due to more free ram and more storage space)
2. To have more storage
3. To have more free RAM available

does this make pubg run smoothier?
Try using Elite ROM it has, performance apps tuned, more animation scale values and mi logging removed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rom-miui13-a12-for-xiaomi-mi-11t-pro.4519123/

Note: Its only for xiaomi 11t pro (vili)

For even more performance u can use this module: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/korotweaks-final-magiskmodule.4328183/ (use magisk manager to flash it. After flashing u will need termux)

1. open termux
2. Type su -c koro
3. Choose battery or gaming profile.
4. Done

Be aware because it might and will heat the device fast (when i choosed battery profile, after rebooting my device, the temperature rised very fast which means performance was improved

Anyway, I totally agree with the choice of not including gapps by default, as I prefer flashing them how I want and in the devices I want. Google Play is very convenient and play services are necessary for some things (for example play games).

It does improve performance. having not enough RAM would cause lags. when i tried tweaking RAM using Franco Kernel manager my RAM started dissapearing and it caused a bit to lag so i had to reboot.

Games do not require google play services. well maybe if u wanna sync data for those games so u dont start all again but yeah, i can't help u. I might look for something but i don't think i will find any gapps.

The truth is having more free RAM alllows to run apps in background without needing to close them. it makes multitasking more efficient

If u prefer performance u can try Elite ROM it has performance apps tuned, more animation scale values and mi logging removed. Also its very good for playing games: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rom-miui13-a12-for-xiaomi-mi-11t-pro.4519123/

not having enough ram is a performance malus, but having more free ram is not a performance bonus. In other words, the important is having enough free ram, the "more than enough" doesn't make a real difference in performance.

In fact I need to syncronise game data in a google-associated game account (Pokemon Go). I'm not an hardcore mobile gamer or something, so I don't need some special optimizations and so on. I just would love to see play services work properly, hope these get fixed in the near future.

With 8 gigs of ram, I don't think it is necessary not to have play services in order to have 200mb more of free ram and have 1203912093 apps open in the background. Multitasking in smartphone is still limited to a handful of apps (< 10, more realistically < 5).

True that might not improve performance but it might have more stablity. i used tiktok and it consumed over 1gb of RAM which was weird. There are apps that need high amount of RAM to work properly so having more free RAM allows for better multitasking but it will also allow to open more apps. with 4-5 GB of free RAM u should be able to open upto 10 apps until it runs out.

Tweaking dalvik.VM in build prop has freed up more RAM for example using dalvik.vm.purgeable.assets=1 it purges assets allowing maybe upto 200m more free RAM if system runs out of free RAM it might need to reboot and that consumes 1℅ of battery (dalving is still used even today and adding that code should free up more RAM)

U can try Elite ROM it should have google apps and the features are: performance apps tuned, more animation scale values making it smoother and it has mi logging removed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rom-miui13-a12-for-xiaomi-mi-11t-pro.4519123/

Just reporting back after trying it for one week and other than this problem the ROM is working perfectly fine
I installed it 1-2 weeks ago and it works fine. There are no gapps, But u can root the device with magisk. Boot into twrp and click advanced and then install magisk.

U can try to install this: https://themagisk.com/microg-installer/

It will download gms core service and other apps that should make gapps work fine. There are solutions in case some issues appear.

Do not flash it on twrp. This is a magisk module

After u flashed it. Try to download google or Google Play store to see if it works. link here: https://apkmirror.com/ Just search for google apps and download them

If u dont know what's root and how to download twrp. Then i recommend not to flash anything and just stay on global ROM

Also if this module does not work or causes bootloop then do not blame it on me. Make sure to read everything atleast 1 time so u know what to do

Just here for reporting some bugs. (Minor)

- brightness slider does not slide along with the touch input.
-Haptic feedback in accessibility if set to "low" does not work.

Will keep updating this if i find any new bugs. But as of now, i could find only these two minor bugs.

Dont worry I ve flashed a fair shade of phones so far. The installation went without any problems at all even magisk and all that stuff but as I mentioned in my post my phone seems to have fingerprint scanner thats not supported right now.

Anyway, to all that have this ROM installed, what is your avg battery life and SoT?
It was long enough. Maybe 8-10 hours. There will be Bugs because its unofficial. Unofficial ROM is safe to use

Please refer to the telegram groups to get the latest version of twrp/ofox as they are unofficial builds.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12.1 (Sv2), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Download: SourceForge

    Changelog: here

    Flashing instructions:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1) IMPORTANT:
Take a backup of all your precious data, as all internal storage will be wiped, then, don't blame at me for data loss.

    2) Go to recovery of your choice (TWRP, OrangeFox, that's fine), format data, and reboot recovery.
Note: You can preserve your recovery if wanted, just check the option for that.

    3) After rebooting recovery, sideload the ROM (adb sideload ROM-file.zip)

    4) Reboot system and done! :)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    (OPTIONAL):
For those who want the GApps/Magisk on ROM, follow these steps after 3rd one.

    1) Reboot recovery after ROM flashing (don't worry, it takes a good while to boot LOS recovery, but eventually you'll be in there)

    2) Select Apply Update > Apply from ADB, then sideload GApps/Magisk (GApps must be for Android 12.1, and ARM64).
If LOS recovery shows any complain of mismatching signature, it's normal, tap continue.

    3) Reboot system and done!

Firmware suggested: Any MIUI 13.X firmware, based on Android 12 only (Now inbuilt fw with zip)

Have happy modding and enjoy!! ;)

Hi, Goodix FP users have that issue right now. FPC ones work fine, that will be fixed on next OTA release

Hello everyone, i installed this build yesterday, and i really need force 120 in all apps. Tell me please, how to fix this? ADB, magisk module, termux command, no matter.
    1. Go to display settings and enable Smooth Display.
    2. Enable peak refresh rate in developer settings as the previous user pointed out.
