About

Installation

[CENTER]* you must also have this recovery version installed :  TWRP
* go to TWRP  and do a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik/art cache) !
* install LineageOS ROM 
* boot the rom
* reboot in TWRP and flash gapps and root (optional)
* reboot system
* Enjoy !!![/CENTER]

Update

[CENTER]* copy the new update of LineageOS to Internal/External Storage
* reboot device to :  TWRP
* wipe cache & dalvik cache
* install the new update of LineageOS
* reboot to System
* reboot system
* Enjoy !!![/CENTER]

This is a rom designed for Huawei P8 Lite 2017 but it can be install on other huawei hi6250 devices that have emui 8. Try at your risk as I can' t support over devices.

Bug reporting without logs will be IGNORED !

I'll try this out. Pie ROMs seem to be more battery hungry so I'll probably stick with Oreo for the meantime.

USSD code run for 3-4 seconds and disappears without anything shown on screen.

Cannot agree, i have on AOSPE 6.1 the same battery life as on stock oreo b394 on PRA-LX1c432. :angel:
Your phone does not have NFC, so maybe that is the point why your battery does not lasts as long as on this rom.

Thanks for the update. Downloading it now. I have a bug when unlocking the phone. It always pop up the keyboard after unlocking. I hope it is fixed in this update. If not, I hope you can fix it next time. ?

Because we use patches in Lineage sources for having everything stable and Lineage' s rules are to build with thier bot without patching anything, just:

* Sync rom source code
* Clone prague code
* Build the rom

I know it is like the thing. If it isn' t correct someone please correct me

Also, it's worth mentioning that the official supported Lineage builds are all Snapdragon based devices, and this is a Kirin device, therefore it will never be official

No, I don' t think they supports only SanpDragon. Actually I saw that LuK from Honor V10 is trying to support officially it. I hope for him

Man this rom is only for EMUI 8 or Android 8

Thanks for your prompt reply but...I anticipated that I was posing a very basic question. Provided that for a typo I wrote EMUI 7 instead of EMUI 8 does your answer mean "No, you can't roll back to EMUI 5 nor EMUI 8" or "Yes, you can roll back" ? In the latter case any short hint/suggestion about how to proceed ?
