Will i keep all my data if I flash it thru twrp?

When you get to keep everything, but dont wipe all, only cache and dalvik

Edit 2: i don't know if OP can edit the original post but in the long term i think a changelog would be helpfull, just my friendly advise i don't want to sound rude and it's 100% subjective opinion with all respect to the guy that made this awesome rom available for our device.

i have installed this great rom, everything works fine but i have a problem
Signals are very poor and mostly i have no signal
most of the time signal indicators are blank
any help ?

Change your preferred network type to Global. Then, see. If still bad, pick your apn (access point names) in apn settings. Global gives all options.

yes brother, its still faulty , signals are poor
before this one i had installed DotOs
everything was working fine except for fingerprint scanner and no signal issue
on this one everything works fine except for signals :/

Awesome rom thus far! Couple of questions, though: are there plans to get selinux to enforcing? And how well does this rom run with no gapps? I found that f-droid fullfills all my needs, so gapps are just useless bloat to me. Thanks!
Edit: also, encryption doesn't seem to work I am at 80% with no SD card installed, all pressing encrypt does is reboot my phone. Any suggestions? I have the chinese 128gb model, if that makes any difference.

Can we dirty flash from the previous build?

I have a problem with Viper4Audio, where if the driver is installed, then while Spotify is playing, all non-music player sounds (notifications, Google Maps directions) are completely muted

Wondering if anyone else had that problem/fix, and if it's ROM or Viper-related

Edit: it's Viper/Spotify-related, although I didn't have this problem on Xiaomi.EU

When i update do i have to install firmware first and then new build trough twrp? Every time? Cause i just flashed the new build and i got fastboot, then i flashed firmware, new build, gapps and everything is working

GCam Issues

Downloaded the suggest GCam port from the original post and it's just nearly useless. The only thing I can reliably get it to do is take a standard photo (no zoom). If I zoom, try night sight, portrait, etc. it crashes. Video is also not working. Any ideas what's wrong?

Admittedly, I've never used a GCam port before. There may be some settings I need to enable/change and if anyone knows what those are please let me know!

Flashing firmware is needed only once. No need to flash it before every ROM update. Also don't use official recovery. Go with Nijel8's modded recovery or with OrangeFox recovery.
On official TWRP there is an error what causes bootloop when dirty-flashing ROM updates

Yes, I do it regularly, so far with no problems.

I have this version... Cant find the url where i downloaded it.. But works for me... Only portrait flash is not working, front camera... Other than that... Everything works fine. Try to find it by name in google

Both are good. Doesn't matter what you pick. Recovery is recovery. Mostly it's only used for just flashing

Pretty sure that isn't the google search bar, it just searches through your installed apps. I'm pretty sure there is no way to get rid of it, apart from getting a different launcher.

that's part of a launcher. you can switch to any. Nova launcher for example can be found cracked and have tons of options
