Flashed this now and its pretty good. Using it for a few hours now and its solid.. Havoc has a bit custom options but I like this

How does crDroid compare with xiaomi.eu so far??

What are the main standouts with this custom ROM right now?

Installed this last night coming from xiaomi.eu. So far so good, fast responsive, everything works, lot of customization options and working Substratum.

the only thing I am missing so far is the face unlock, but I can live without it

Okay I've taken the plunge and flashed crDroid.
All looks ok at the moment.


Just one thing, does anyone notice the display slightly gets lighter and darker with automatic brightness set??

Is this a common issue or something unusual??

Is that what its supposed to do? Adjust depending on current lighting conditions.

Yes of course, but I'm noticing small incremental changes every couple of seconds..
Almost like it can't decide and this is when the room lighting hasn't changed.

Weird issue.

Might just be a bit too sensitive as not light changes are visible to the naked eye

You flashed wrong gapps! You must use bigger package for face unlock! Not nano or pico...

Does anyone have haptic feedback working on crDroid?

I've checked all settings and it appears to be on, but it's not working.

EDIT: Battery saver removes Haptic... You live and learn ?

Thanks for this @Nikitel. This is the best, by far, so far from all the ROMs that I've tested including Treble ROMs.

#Use Micro Gapps at least

- Open the Settings

- Select Security & Location

- Tap Smart Lock (under the subheading Settings)

- Select Trusted Face

- Follow the on screen steps

You allowed Smart Lock in Trusted Agents ? (Settings/Security and go to the very bottom)
