Yes I tried AOSiP too and had the exact same bugs, touchscreen issues felt the same, typing on gboard was really hard because of the delays.
What I didn't mention is that when the fp-scanner stopped working, several apps have been reset, my quicksettings arrangement has changed, the settings button didn't work, although the settings app itself was fine. Mobile data wasn't working too, only calling and SMS worked, but SMS was a pain in the ass because for some reason the space key disappeared lol

Apart from that I really liked AOSiP and this rom, maybe Mr. Coldbird finds the trigger for all the bugs someday. I didn't create logs but maybe this description can help him out
It was a bug in F2FS...format /Data in ext4 and all is good!

Wait...are you saying that formatting the /Data partition to Ext4 also resolves the touchscreen issues on custom roms or just the software bugs?

I remember on previous phones the common consensus was to avoid F2FS as the problems it caused on various roms wasn't worth the few benefits that it provided but MIUI on the Max 3 defaults to F2FS on the /Data partition so I kind of just left it like that.

Ya EXT 4 is a must to use custom Roms. Even when using EU Miui, the data partition switches back to F2FS and it has to be change back to EXT 4 before using AOSiP, Lineage, and etc. That is a rule to use EXT 4 for a long time know when switching from a stock rom using F2FS data partition.

Hello

I just ordered a mi max 3 to replace my rooted redmi note 5 (lineageos 16).
What are the main differences between Lineage Pie and AOSiP ( knowing that I do not install any GApps )

Thank you MrColdbird :good:

I will receive my mi 3 max in a few days with Global Stable ROM V10.3.2.0.
I will not have any problem with ARB (anti rollback) when installing this ROM?

You'll have to unlock bootloader first. Dev firmware recommended for this rom is newer than stable, arb is not a concern for upgrades, but it's better to flash arb-free firmware, just in case you would like to roll back. Not sure if fw linked in fp is arb-free, it is supposed to be.
