I'm having a strange problem with booting the device. After shutting down and powering the phone back on, the device just sits at the LG boot screen (I've waited up to five minutes). To remedy this, I have to remove the battery and then restart the device again. After this, it boots up without any issues. Definitely not a deal breaker, but figured I should report it. If it matters, I bought the phone back in April of 2011.

I'll look into it,
It could be just a random occurrence... or not..
Thank you for reporting this.

I had the same issue, but when my phone does boot back up, all my info is gone (google account, contacts, downloaded apps, settings, etc) Also purchased around March/April 2011.

Anyone get OC to work on OverDrive?

Thank you for all the work you've done. I have flashed OverDrive and it is running fine, but when I flash the Bumblebee kernel to OC and reboot it gets stuck on the LG screen and I then have to restore back to the included kernel. I'm happy to wait for a new kernel, but was curious if anyone had it working?

Also, where is the wireless tethering settings? They seem to have disappeared or maybe just got moved somewhere else?

Update: Using Widgetsoid for my toggles which includes a toggle for Wifi Hotspots (aka wireless tethering) and when I toggle it on it turns on the wifi hotspots and allows for configuration options.

However, I am now having an issue with "Low Space". Perhaps it's due to how the symlinks are set up for datadata?

This happened to me twice on the first day I flashed the ROM and OC kernel. It has not happened again since Thursday, and I've rebooted the phone multiple times since then.. very strange.

I've been using the free FoxFi app and it works very well. I have not seen the Low Space issue (yet). I will let you guys know if I do.

Okay, I'm Happy To Report That 2.2.2 Is Working PERFECTLY With No Problems. I Will Check Back Later To Report Any Bugs (Hopefully None :)

I can hear the buttons, and all but i have a black screen. I know this is an issue with the kernel, and newer lcds.
Same here. I was imagining that the included kernel would have the drivers for the newer screens. I'm sure there is a fix for this. What kernels are compatible with this ROM?

Links to flashable kernels would be helpful too. :p

Okay, this happened to me again, and like Chris, all my information was gone after rebooting. Fortunately, I was able to restore a full backup I had taken several days before. I'm happy to perform any kind of troubleshooting requested but am not able to reproduce the issue on demand. It's also annoying that the only way to reboot the phone is to pull/replace the battery, then hit the Power button - whenever I perform a shutdown and power it back on normally, it just sits at the black LG screen until I pull the battery..

Stuck at splash screen on 2.2.2 with oc kernel. Reflashed rom with regular kernel and is working great so far.
It would be great to have an oc kernel on this.
Thanks for the rom.
