So i tested LineageOS 16 and here are my observations:
1. Build is quite good to be in Beta stage (Few FCs here and there). Mostly all the things work (not tested VoLTE and Moto Mods and GPS Navigation)
2. SDcard issue , i think have to format it using the phone to use it
3. Since LOS16 is not officially out there are no (or few) extra features added , only changes to framework , systemUI and settings , other apps remains the same as of LineageOS15.1

agreed, normal usage is fine but battery drains in standby mode (even in deepsleep / doze)

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask this question, i`ve been watching this tread for a long time but just registerd to xda to write this.
since i installed the developer preview the internal battery of my moto z has been useless, 3 seconds after i unplug it shuts itself down even though it says its charged to 100%,
so the phone is effectively useless without a battery mod. before i flashed the rom it had like 2 hours sot so it looks strange to me that its completly dead. I don`t know if this problem is fixable or not but it would be very nice if i could use the phone on its own battery. its not a huge problem for me because i have the turbo power pack and 6 november ill be buying a oneplus 6t if its not fixable. If anyone can help me with this problem i would be very happy! If you want some pictures or other things let me know! I updated to the LOS 16 build with the hope it would solve the problem but it didn`t help for me...

i guess it is tied to Google Play Services, i didn't faced any battery drain when i was on beta 4 port in July. this is my usage now with airplane mode on + wifi, didn't changed anything soo, yeah

I have a 3 month old Moto Z - DE version, currently I am on stock Oreo ( no root) and I get a 34 hrs of battery time including 3hrs .15min SOT + 30 min of voice calls and at t least 30 min of 4G data usage . This is not bad for a battery that small considering the fact I am not using airplane mode at all.
The question is : are these numbers feasible with LOS 15.1/16? Will appreciate if someone can tell me if it is worth the update.

For me, battery life is not worse than with stock Oreo, but not better either.
Its worth the upgrade to LineageOS 15.1 considering that Moto Z will not receive a further Update. Regrading the battrey , i am getting 4Hrs of SOT with 11Hrs standby with all Wifi , 4G LTE , GPS turned on. It will depend on the usage , the battery is not bad but also not best either
Anyone using lineage 16? How does it work? I'm on the last pixel port and it works great but there are some things that I miss from lineage
Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the posts but can I just flash stock oreo back on the phone after flashing this ROM or are there specific steps to follow to prevent bricking it?
