I'm lazy to flash and setup everything. If you have short way how to get done quick as possible. Than go ahead. I'll be glad to try. I don't want to reinstall and setup apps one by one.

I have a really big problem with this rom. I've flashed it normally through twrp and I get 2 notifications saying " preparing your pixel device " that's infinitely loading and so I can't login into my Google account. The second one is " preparing Android update which stalls on about 30%. I can't launch chrome nor the play store, also YouTube, gdrive and downloads doesn't want to launch. Please help :(

Installed it last night. It's functional and usable!

It took an eternity too pass the first "Android update", but after many reboots and installing of Google Play Services 12.6.73 and Google Play Store 10.0.07 I surpassed this step. Followed the Pixel setup which hanged without allowing me to click "next", the only way to get rid of it was to disable the app completely.
On the WiFi I had random reboots (both 2.4 and 5 GHz), but on mobile data everything it's fine. Too bad I could not find any Camera app to function, so I installed the Open Camera from Google Play.
Sometimes when you open certain apps it hangs for good seconds until it opens and in multitasking between 2 "hungry" apps the lag it's truly felt - same when you unlock it with the fingerprint (btw, I'm missing the lock option with the fingerprint sensor). But with a bit of patience I use it as a daily driver (have a backup phone with me just in case).
I flashed Magisk 16.4 for root and to install few modules. 98% of my usual apps are working fine, for the rest the developers must work on the compatibility with Android P. The battery consumption it's high at this time, but it's too early to worry about it - I will wait for a few discharge/charge cycles.
I will continue to use it... :)

@erfanoabdi Thank you!

About lock with finger print
Just go to settings, system, moto gestures and select power button for finger print as key
Actually i feel performance is getting better over times

Yeah, I'm having the same trouble here.

About finish setup update, it was since DP1, so it's ok.

Unfortunately, when using WiFi (just when connected) it randomly reboot. I'm looking for what this can be.

The camera does not work in any app for me. In DP1 it was working. Maybe this can be something related to updated API.

Battery is going too fast, and my Incipio Battery Mod (1st Gen) is not working..
It is recognized and showed as connected, but it's not charging my phone.

I don't have a secondary phone, so I think I'll rollback because of the wifi trouble :(

EDIT:
- WhatsApp can use camera;
- My Mod has fully discharge, so battery is discharging so fast that Mod can suppress, or Mod is discharging and not charging phone.

EDIT 2:
- Yeah, Mod is charging phone as long the print shows when my Mod was without battery, and then, battery falls

so @erfanoabdi and i spend some time on wifi and random reboots , he finally had an idea that worked for me the past 20 mins i didnt had any reboot pls try and report this

just flash this zip with turbo-z kernel and it should work https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=26839
Without this flash, I could have no reboot with DISABLING the "GOOGLE CONNECTIVITY SERVICES" app.

About battery:
I think it was some temporary problem. My phone shut down. When I plugged into charger, I boot and it was with about 80%. Passed more than 1h since this, and I'm with 78% (using only whatsapp and email)

Yeah that might work but is not a proper way to do it the rom shall stay clean and stock like ill guess anyway it feels better to find the real iusse and fix it , here is a kernel log i pulled right after a reboot https://hastebin.com/evajomarut.md and as soon as i turned off wifi all iusses were gone

After installing many versions of gapps I still can't login into my Google account. The login configurator just crashes every time I want to login

@erfanoabdi hey i have a question about your work.
I can't understand the entire process behind this porting, i'm pretty much sure that you have done everything with CLT since we don't have a vendor partition on griffin, but what i can't understand is where did you get the GSI of android p, or if you have cleaned the one from the pixel xl and in this second case i would like to understand what have you removed to make it working as a """"GSI"""". I want to be honest i want all of this infos because i want to do the same thing on my 5T, but in my case i have the vendor partition thanks to mokee work, so i only need to understand how to clean the Google Pixel 2 xl system image

if you understand what is CLT it's nothing but a copy paste script
and we don't have GSI P at all
i used marlin system and vendor images to make this rom from lineage with many patches, hex edits and hacks
i'll make a guide for all i did on griffin later
