From what ROM / Firmware do you comes?

Flash this Firmware (P600XXUCNH3_P600DBTCNH1_DBT.zip) over ODIN (PC), Reboot and test if WiFi works. If not it is not my ROM Issue. If Wifi works, flash Recovery (2.6.3.3 TWRP) and flash again my ROM with Full Factory Reset!

Now the Wifi must work.
Nah, too much hassle for beta roms, just went to another in 5 mins as this is the only one i've ever tested that had an issue so I wanted to speak up.

A couple questions:

Why would something like the wifi be the only affected part coming off another non-official rom?
What'd you do to make it a must to reflash to stock first? (of course it's advisable as with any flash, but It's not required on most roms here, so what's different?)

Thanks

I didn't flash stock first...I actually came from Shawn's Nexus Experience rom straight to this...did a clean flash and presto, this ROM IS DYNAMITE!! I've been running about a week and no wifi issues at all and battery life is fantastic, and a quick, snappy ROM :D
@Darkman, you gonna update this ROM any more? I see you cranking out new versions for 605. Just curious, thanks.

P605 is a special Version because it is the first 4.4.4 Version and a Port from P607 to P605. This is the reason why i have there some trouble at the moment.

P600 gets update`s sure! My supportet devices are at the Moment I9295 / P600 / P605 :good:

My P600 is running on the latest DBT Base and gets a new base if there is a new DBT Version. New Features coming after P605 is working.

Loving the Rom, very fast and so far completely bug free. I am having a problem using MW manager though. I can't seem to add extra apps to the multi window panel. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I'll ask the same question from the 4th since your answer was moot as it doesn't matter if we're on stock or not, comments clearly show that. I rarely get on this anymore either way, but I gotta chime on this since I logged in today. I'm curious what 'devs' that get donations on here actually know.

I have flashed at least 8-10 different roms since I got a p600 and your rom is the only one that had a wifi issue every single time.

So again - Why would something like the wifi be the only affected part coming off another non-official rom? (which obviously is wrong as others have flashed off non-stock roms)

Since it doesn't matter what rom we're coming from, sup?

Also, flashing back to stock has always been a precaution for years on these devices, but rarely ever actually required. I've been doing this for over 8 years now, same deal different day. It's no fault of mine or my flashing procedure, it's your rom for my particular device because every single other one works fine.

So what's up, why wouldn't wifi connect to any network using your rom? What did you change from the source that could possibly be keeping it from connecting?

(Answer issues if you're going to collect donations)

Exactly, it doesn't matter what rom you're coming from. That's a mere precaution that has been around for years. It really doesn't effect anything in the end. Out of the 8-10 i've flashed, this is the only one that has had a hardware issue. I may be the only one, but it is an issue either way. I will not be using this rom (can't either way), but I really wanted to ask this guy what's up and get a logical response.

Sorry to hear your issue...i did flash this rom and everything worked perfect. It is the only rom bugs free for me...
About the devs, they do it for free, dude. so we should thank them for their work. remember i dont know how to cook a rom so it is nice to have somebody who can and to make it for us for free...
About donations, it is a gift in appreciation of their work.

I have followed those instructions but after a few flash no matter what, both that rom and stocky won't work on the 5ghz wireless band on my P600, anyone has any idea why? I tried other roms and the samsung stock and it works (Some other roms also had issues with 5ghz)

Darkman I've been using your roms for a long time they're solid and I like them but this one is doing something real weird. No matter what I switch my wallpaper to it always switches back to the stocky ROM default.... Any idea why?

I get that it's a strange issue and you are curious why it might be happening, however, if I was rom chef and offered a way to TROUBLESHOOT an issue and the response I got was "Nah, too much hassle..." I think I wouldn't pursue the matter further either, just sayin.

The donations are very poor and with this donations i paid my Webspace for give the Users a good and fast Download Server and webspace. Not more..... I working many hours on a ROM like this and not for the donations!!! I make it because it makes me fun but i the last few month more and more Users take a lott but not give Feedback or "thanks" and this is not funny. I donation many other DEVs for there hard work ;)

I dont know why you have this Trouble with my ROM i do not have any logical response because there is no logical response possible. If i have a solution for you i would be happy to give it you.
Since a few Devices Samsung change something in his ROMs like the Bootloader and more things that make such Issues. And KNOX is a terrible Thing from Samsung!! Many DEVs are gone because KNOX comes....

What other DEVs makes different from my ROMs? I do not know it because i have my way and my ROMs works on my devices very fine......

And sorry in the last weeks i have may trouble and work in the Office it is Chrismas and many People are a little bit cracy in this time :silly: and my family need time from me.

Sorry to hear your issue...i did flash this rom and everything worked perfect. It is the only rom bugs free for me...

Yes go to "system\wallpaper\default_wallpaper" and delete the default_wallpaper.jpg then try again.

Hi.

I had to restore a backup that I have made with TWRP 2.6.3 but after boot I get "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError" if I open for example Inbox, Skype. I get an error if I open Play Store....

Any advice please! Ok...at the moment I set up the table new but I can't understand why the restore didn't work.

Thank you!
