No matter how long I wait it doesn't prompt. Also tried uninstalling the app, wipe cache and dalvik, reinstall..no luck. Also I pay for the service so prefer to use that (and I have to use their app). Will try a full wipe and install I guess

By the way the rom is awesome otherwise!

Edit: actually it isn't supersu. When you connect to a vpn android prompts you with a warning and a check box to verify you trust the vpn (if you click the box and hit continue, then it prompts for superuser access). That message isn't coming up at all.

It looks like this basically
Same issue for me. Hma apk forceclosed when i try to connect to Vpn. I have to configure Vpn in settings and it works.
The rom is great...

p601

I believe someone has already asked this question, but search couldn't find any results for "p601" and "3g" so I have to ask.. Sorry.. Any chance of getting this for p601 model? I like that ROM, but I need 3G enabled.

ext bluetooth keybord layout

Hi,

I really love this ROM and its possibilities. But one problem occours. I connected a BT keybord, but its Layout appears qwerty instead of qwertz. I installed note pro keybord in aroma options. maybe it is incompatible with external keybords? Any idea how to change system setting to recocnise the keybord as qwertz? I think its just a small config change needed to set qwertz as default.

thnaks!

Have you tried to set samsung keyboard layout to qwertz in settings - language - samsung keyboard? You also need all language files and enable german as default language.
You have luck if you have qwerty layout working, my ext. keyboard do not work with 4.4 kitkat anymore :crying:

The options there did not help. External keyboard helper app does a good job now. All is fine now.

One more question. My daughter is not happy with the hyperdrive bootanimation. Any way to replace it without flashing the whole Rom again?

You can pull the other boot animations out of the Rom zip or reflash and select another boot animation in aroma.

Flash latest stock 4.4.2 update for p600 via Odin3.09. I believe, spanish is the latest.
Root again with CF-autoroot, flash TWRP 2.6.3.3 (others still buggy for me) via Odin3.09, than flash Hyperdrive in TWRP and enjoy :)
I believe Mexico is now the latest stock update...
So, it doesn't matter which update country I use? How is that?

VPN seems to be buggy or not working very well.

I have 2 VPNs set up on my tablet.
One for work and one for anonymous surfing.

Both are L2TP/IPSec both are connecting and are working fine, but when I go into VPN menu and click on a connected VPN name, it does not pop up the small info box with VPN traffic stats and the button to disconnect. So now I can connect and use VPN but there seems to be no way to disconnect other than connecting to a different VPN.

Edit: Forgot to ask, would it be possible for you to add an option into developer options to change the hostname (most ROMs have that option located there)? I have 3 phones and 2 tablets at home, figuring out what is what is hard. I could use an app like DNS Hostname Changer, but it would be way more practicat to have it integrated into the ROM itself.

Thanks

Sorry if this has already been answered, but my search terms yielded no results. Is there a way to change the menu button to the app Switcher and long press home to Google now like the S5 in this rom or via xposed? Thanks in advanced for any help

EDIT
You need to download English US language pack it fixes both Swype and handwriting.

Flash again the whole rom and choose another bootanimation. If you flash only the new bootanimation, than you will see at first the new BA and right after you will see parts of the Hyperdrive BA. Have tested it! If you change it by flashing the whole Rom Hyperdrive Parts are away.:good:

Hello -- I tried the same thing. For me, this particular tablet is greatly enhanced by the addition of soft keys at the bottom of the screen, due to the (poor) Samsung decision to place the original keys on side of tablet. Goes against instinct. I have enabled softkeys on other roms, including kitkat roms, using the same buildprop command -- but for me it didn't work with this rom. When I rebooted after edit, the rom was frozen and required a re-install. If the soft keys could be added I would be so happy!
Maybe it is just me, but are you talking about the same tablet? Unless your instinct is to use portrait mode, which is cool, but pretty sure the Note 10.1 was designed to be used in landscape mode for the most part and is designed perfectly for that IMO...well except for the charging port location, which doesn't lend to charging in an angled position while watching video and such.
I'm with nabour. I read and edit text files a lot so portrait is the only way to go.

Personally I find the capacitive keys on a tablet extremely annoying. I've disabled them by 'commenting' them out on the generic key file.

I use simple gestures using GMD gesture control to get around but as sbreen pointed out PIE is a good alternative to nav/soft keys......still I prefer the latter if they are customizable.

Might make a separate thread soon, be interesting to see how people prefer navigating their tabs!

Are you using the hacked flash player? You have to use the hacked version on kit kat. Also make sure flash is enabled in dolphin settings :good:
