Please provide feedback on the following:
1. Aroma install layout/options
2. bootanimations
3. changing language, if applicable
4. any noticeable improvements - changelog is much higher than previous ROM

Installed without wipes.
1. Aroma is OK, handy and simple.
2. Bootanimation works fine, I want to try to change to some different one.
3. I use Russian language and it was the one after installation because I`ve flashed without wipes.
4. Overall the ROM looks pretty smooth. Have to use for some more time to feel real difference.

But there's still something wierd, after each reboot I get this error "Unified Daemon (CHN) stopped". I hit OK and everything is back to normal. Have no idea what is this. Any insights?

Update: freezed it with Titanium, hope nothing will break LOL

So I installed this ROM
Feedback -
The E series Rom is much smoother than previous the D series
Multi Touch has improved , does not shake as much when holding finger or pinching to zoom
Keyboard design is very nice soothing and functional , the flat color scheme is nice
Browser seems smoother
I like the apps bundled with the ROM ..
Charging seems faster , need to test more ..
The Spen window and 4 window mod is a great addition

The Aroma installation was very nicely presented , good color choice
Options to choose were nice
Boot animation could be a bit more subtle , but its still good
The notification dropdown transparency can be made slightly more opaque for better readability
Also same for multiwindow bar , make it bit more opaque .
The notification quick toggle icons need a bit more contrast with the background , also the icons can be full blue instead of the light blue rim on it
On the home screen , it shows Baidu search instead of Google search !
There is a fc when trying to sign in to Dropbox during initial installation of the ROM . Gives a error ..

Overall I loved the ROM , keep pushing :good:

Thanks for the feedback. The bootanimation is slow the first time, during initial boot, but should be okay afterwards.

Not sure about "Unified Daemon (CHN)". Had same problem, but seemed to go away. I think it is one of the Chinese ROM's background processes. On my tablet it is associated with a weather app. Freezing it should be okay.

Cannot find where to change expanded statusbar.
Forgot about signal bar; will look into this weekend.

Edit: In the meantime, you can try this: Remove statusbar icons

The 2.0 ROM is a NON-WIPE Rom, but I always use Titanium Backup first then do a factory reset with new Roms. Because you can selectively install apps now, I would recommend a data wipe to remove unwanted data from your phone.

When the box shows on the screen, there should be a checkbox to "Never show again".
Also, in settings: tap WLAN, then menu key. You will have a screen (Advanced) where you can turn that popup off.

The new theme of Samsung Chinese IME is so beauty and easy to using. But only 3 language selected and can't add more is a problem for me :crying:. Can you bring the new theme for Samsung Keyboard !? Or how can i add more language !?

Have you gone into Settings/Controls/Langugae and tried to change language. There should be more than 3.
As much as I would like to make personal changes for you I cannot. If I do them for you, then everyone will want personal changes.

Try to enjoy the ROM.

No. ..only 3 Language available and can't add more :crying:. The new SS Chinese IME layout so easy to typing but useless for daily use, The Samsung keyboard can do, but it so ugly every time it show up. One beautifull but useless, one usefull but ugly. So pain .

For along time i search a keyboard for Android tablet, no one can help me typing with 10 finger easy like ipad's keyboard before. If the chinese IME is stock, hope the Samsung Keyboard can get it soon

If you are on my v2.0 Rom you should have more than 3 languages.
Also check playstore for other keyboards which have themes. I am using smart keyboard pro. I have customized it and it supports other languages.

No no, i'm using alphabet keyboard, not chinese. I just hope you help Samsung keyboard get new theme or help Chinese IME can support more language. If not, tks you a about you care. tks again. I think i'll try to wait the stock keyboard get new theme on next Samsung update
