Data Connection Working in this way

awesome, I had it work once or twice without the modem file but I just got a signal and it didn't work... Did you test it out?

My evidence is here. Pls have a look on the picture below.

What I did was ...
->Flashed StockyRom over xKat 5.0 (Data connection failed)
-> Flashed original firmware P605XXUCNJ2_P605XSACNJ1_P605XXUCNJ2_HOME.tar.md5 from Samsung Mobile Firmware archive but failed in the end of the process.
-> flashed TWRP Recovery 2.7.1.1 and flashed xKat 6.0 (working awesome)
-> reflashed StockyRom over xKat 6.0 after Full Factory Reset
NOW StockyRom working near perfect!
As you see the picture, data connection is working all the time even after many rebooting.
WiFi, GPS all working excellent from testing.
You will now understand why my device baseband version is P605XXUCNJ2.
Good Luck, and I'm not responsible for any damage or brick.
Please do so at your risk.
I guess it could be much easier to flash new modem file, which was modified by jbm76.
(I haven't tested it yet because I didn't need it.)
Now I'm trying to upgrade the baseband to P605XXUCNK1.
Let's see whether or not this would do any better.

I just tried to make a call then and have the same problem. I tried to install a third party dialer and had the same problem.

I also can't get the mw manager to work properly - I add the apps I want but they don't seem to show up in the menu and I can't add them.. Anyone else having problems with MW manager? I also tried to disable it and use one with xposed which worked on all other roms I've tried but would not work on this ROM.

Other than that everything else seems to be working really well - 4.4.4 is so much smoother than 4.4.2 and it also fixed a few other little problems I had.

Making A Phone Call - Working Now !

I just tried to make a call then and have the same problem.

I hardly make a phone call, so not noticed until this email.
I also have the same issue here.
But I can tell that the 3G data connection speed is fantastic,
best ever I've experienced.

N.B.: My phone fuction working normal now as it should be.
Simply by running the Stocky Mod again, and selecting the Phone Note 2014 version, not Tab S.

Did it flash ok? Did you go into settings about and check to see if your broadbase changed?

This is the order that worked for me...

1. Odin to stock P605XXUCNE2
2. Installed recovery and flashed stocky rom/mods - rebooted and still no mobile data
3. Then I installed the modem file and rebooted and it found mobile data straight away

Tried it and: IT IS WORKING.

1st flashed STOCK "P605XXUCNK1_P605VFGCNK1_P605XXUCNG1_HOME.tar.md5" from SAMMOBILE via ODIN (but failed)
2nd flashed TWRP 2.8.3.0
3nd flashed xKAT 6.0
4th flashed STOCKY ROM 3.0
5th flashed MODEM PACK "CNG1modem.tar" see POST #276 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57730385&postcount=276
REBOOTED and....YES, it is running now!

Reflashed (with Odin) same modem and restarted and it worked but only up to next reboot. Flashed once again, but can't get it running again.

Went back to xKat 6.0

If i come from the Lollipop ROM, do i need to flash stock 4.4.2 ROM from Samsung, then only flash StockyROM?

I kinda miss the functionality of the S Pen and Multi Window stuff, and i dont know how to replicate the MW functionality in stock Android.

I've only ever had wifi-only tablets before, but T-Mobile offered me a 5gb tablet data plan for $10 a month, and the next day I accidentally shattered my P600's screen, so I decided instead of fixing that one for $200, I'd buy a used LTE version for $300. So, if this rom is based off the P607, does that mean I can use it to make calls with my P607?

I have a P607T too, with XKat 6.0 ROM.
Sadly the answer is no. There is a thread on the Q&A Help & Troubleshooting section dealing with the issue, but they hit a wall.
Something related to a modem that can not be updated.
Texting works OK, but for voice calls the workaround will be a VOIP app.
