Aye, thanks a ton Scott. So far the new update rrrrunning flawwwlleesss.... no systemui FC's as of yet.. and i even tested openning maps that was a sure FC..and notta.. will keep giving it a spin and see how it goes.. great job so far.

yes, would like to know which kernel is suggested... im trying bonuuzz since reported issues of civz with teh wifi.. though when i first did civz i didnt notice it at first, but i wasn't on it long enough to know.. do we need to use stock kernely for it to charge up faster ?

hopefully can now get to play with all the tweaking and not get it FC"ing on me ;)

Flashed the new update and the install went much smoother than the first time I flashed - all of the issues I had with Aroma originally are fixed and the install went very smoothly - no System UI FC's after booting up - everything seems to be running very smoothly - can't wait to begin playing with the various options but first wanted to thank the DEV for their hard work on getting this new update out -- awesome stuff!

Hey guys i was using cyanogenmod 12 but since there were no multi window function i decided to try this rom out. I wiped clean everything except external sd(which held the hyper rom) and i installed the hyperrom and it said everything installed fine. Then the part where you reboot and wait about 10 minutes , it just hangs at a blank black screen. It doesnt do amything from there. So i waited like 30 minites and pressed (power + volume up) to restart it back to recovery then to reboot again but it does nothing. Any tips where i am going wrong?

What version of the tab are you on?

make sure you do the factory reset and wipe cache/davlik/data .i normally do that a couple times to be certain.. if you are on P900, then all should be fine doing that. not sure that it would, but possibly cm did something to system partitions and maybe try find the files and do an odin back to stock to reset everything to clean..

ohh and just rmembered you said cm12.. that is lollipop so 4.4.4.. so for sure you got some updateed stuff that you would need to odin back if you are able to stil ldowngrade.. this is 4.4.2 so i am nearly possitive that could be causing your issue

one thing that i have noticed is that with bonuuz kernel,,, charging is pretty darn slow :( guessing maybe that is what someone was asking about fast charge, i was kinda thinking maybe they might have made it if faster than stock, but alas it is not.. might try flashing stock kernel back again and see.. not sure of benefits to keeping bonuuz or civz just now

I only use civato's kernel so no fast charge there.
I could be wrong but I don't think fast charge has been enabled yet on any P900 kernels; furthermore, fast charge is a feature of Qualcomm SoC's (hardware capable as early as the s3?) but never officially enabled (on stock) until s5(?) / n4

edit: it may have been added to exynos SoC's by Samsung later on, but the Qualcomm version of the note pro is the 3g/lte (wifi only is exynos)

note pro 12.2:

dirty-flashed the initial release, from ANC5, and I had ZERO force closes :) have not updated yet to 1.1 yet though

if any of these were fixed in 1.1 just disregard and I will find out soon anyways, but the problems and dislikes are as follows...

1. can't seem to get the clock to appear on the status bar
2. the toggles in the drop-down have large spaces between them
3. excess spacing between the different sections (vertically) in the drop-down
4. I can't seem to make Quicklaunch go away
5. with colored battery text enabled, every once in a while the stock white text and colored text will appear side by side and/or there will be a large space between the icon and text
6. a lot of tweaks that indicate they are disabled were actually enabled as well as some enabled being disabled/broken (per default setting)
7. I liked the Recents window with the dark background better

I am loving the darker themed drop-down among many other things and despite the dirty-flash, it is very stable! thank you very much :D

tab pro 12.2:
I do not own or have daily access to it

I saw someone in this thread mention that it was working on the tab (T900) so I pointed that out to my friend who has it and he decided to try it. dirty-flash (selected stock kernel) from stock rooted which resulted in constant force closes of miui and acore.

wiped data which solved acore but miui kept FC. updated it later to 1.1 and that solved ALL of the force closes. the only issue I noticed was that there was persistent help text drawn over the home screen to tap + hold to change wallpaper or add widgets (does not happen on my P900 and I understand this rom is not designed for that tab lol). auto rotation was also broken but could still be forced back to normal by launching an app that only supports landscape

all problems/dislikes from the note pro were still present (on the tab pro) on both 1.0 and 1.1, before and after data wipe, with xposed disabled

A lot of the issues might be due to dirty flash. Recommend doing a full clean wipe install.

For your#1 you have to go into the settings and find click alignment and it is default to hidden. Just change it to center right or whatever you want and it will appear. .

As for the kernel mine charges a lot faster on stock than with civzour bonuuz

T900 has a known issue with the auto rotate when flashing p900 roms

1.1 got rid of a lot of the issues so clean flash that and then let know if have any of those issues

Sorry but I don't see any answer at post #3
It's in the q&a portion just under the custom clock settings

Basically says to press and hold a widget and move to another screen and goes away

thanks a bunch :) you solved 2 issues with 1 post

I updated to 1.1 and here's a follow-up on the list

1. solved
2. defined in the framework via OP, not easily "fixed" by a user
3. defined in the framework via OP, not easily "fixed" by a user
4. solved. had to be toggled on, reboot, toggle off, reboot again (probably a result of dirty-flash)
5. persists through a data wipe
6. solved. had to be toggled on, reboot, toggle off, reboot again (probably a result of dirty-flash)
7. themed to be like this by the OP, not easily "fixed" by a user

also, sound issues on 1.1 I had bad experiences with viper mod a while ago so I didn't bother with it in this rom. i didn't install (and can confirm that) on either 1.0 or 1.1, nor did I alter any music effect options in the main settings (I did after I noticed the distortions to see if that would fix it)

restored my backup of 1.0 and sound was back to normal

Most of your "issues" are not issues and can be customized through tweaks. Play around with the options in there ;)

there's no option to change color of recents background or adjust tile spacing within the drop-down that I can find

also, what of the sound issue? I think you quoted my last post before I finished editing

edit: I restored my system backup of 1.1 again and boom sound fixed... very strange

Tweaks/status bar/toggles in view/choose whichever number you want

I ported tab s system ui and that is the default color of the recents background in it

aah that makes sense

so if I wanted to theme it back to the gnote color, would I have to decompile the apk or just unzip it?

if I do manage to get it back to stock look I'll be sure to upload for anyone else who wants it

You'll need to decompile the apk and change the hex code /drawable file, i don't know which off the top of my head
