Still checking. Look like it's not a kernel problem. Look like cm need time (about 1 sec) to lock screen after turn-off screen. If you open cover faster - it's unlock screen by cover and only then lock by timer. Trying understand this logic.Hi @Valera1978 .Did you check it?? Sorry if I bothered! Thanks.
Testing - very interesting rom, lite (155mb), more settings (vs cm), smooth. look a bit differ. Will stay on it for several days for test.
I didn't ask that question !![emoji3] [emoji3] I had asked " Now that bigbiff has built a recovery for SM-P901, is it possible to have cyanogenmod on SM-P901 too?? It's Exynos too and the only difference is that it's has Sim card slot! I think both SM-P900 and SM-P901 Have the same source and the only difference is the 3g capability! Thanks." You said you would check it but didn't answer! this was my question !! Thanks again!![emoji6]Still checking. Look like it's not a kernel problem. Workaround - you can switch off lock screen in settings.
Sorry. Give me 1 day - will discuss with bonuzzz, may be we will do something for P901.I didn't ask that question !![emoji3] [emoji3] I had asked " Now that bigbiff has built a recovery for SM-P901, is it possible to have cyanogenmod on SM-P901 too?? Nice, I've been playing around with it for a while and it has potential. Unfortunately, the lack of root access makes it difficult to run it effectively.
I agree on the stability, even though I have been updating to the nightly builds, I think it's a waste of time and risky. I'd rather get fewer stable updates. Battery life is also important for me. Thanks for your efforts!I think we have reached the phase when we have to decide we will move further. Everyone of us has certain type of using tab. For example, I use this tab at work. I choose stabilty and long battery than performance and bleeding edge features.
At this moment I decide to move from stock to aosp-based firmware. Last two days I tried many custom roms on other tab and found two paths of futher working:
1. port firmware with many mods out-of-box like dirty unicorns
2. choose stable base like cm and omnirom and use xposed and gravitybox for features.
3. return to stock and remove everything there (pessimistic variant)
I think we need more rare but more stable builds. For now It some risky to use nightly builds of cm because we have to find to solve new bugs every time, with camera for example.
I have some more ideas about this, but I dont want to publish now. I want to hear your thoughts about strategy of futher development.
Just note, We (Valera and me) can't maintain several roms at the same time.
Please, write your thoughts.
I believe in option 2, a stable base (bi-weekly, or even monthly update would do). But, I would love to see optional kernels, type converting your custom kernel: basic | pro | vtfb, but also kexec as I would love to see the modified TWRP finalized in order to use MultiROM fully out.1. port firmware with many mods out-of-box like dirty unicorns

Nice one too. However, between the 3 (cm, slimkat and omni) there are only minor differences, as I see it. A few nice options here and there but my preference goes with cm, simply for the fact that it has super user pre-installed. Both the other come out of the box w/o su. Just another headache to install and make sure it's working. Although, I must say that I'm getting quite a collection of teaser ROM's and keeping the all together under MultiROM makes it a lot easier in swiching back and forth. Amazing work though. Thanks.today's preview build - omnirom

I am in the same boat as you. Stability and battery life are key for me as well as solid s-pen use.I think we have reached the phase when we have to decide we will move further.
