Hi guys,
Sorry if I missed something but the flickering screen is Samsung's battery. I installed a new 3rd party battery (look on YouTube).
Problem solved. Thank-you for this ROM and in advance....the Camera fixers!!

Safe volume warning

For anyone interested in removing the safe volume warning on this ROM a simple edit to the build.pro file will do it, I was using NoSafeVolumeWarning module on 5.1.1 but it didn't seem to be working on this marshmallow ROM.

Edit build.prop ---> Root/system/build.prop
Add this line at the end of the file ---> audio.safemedia.bypass=true

So that means you have no trouble with xposed?

No problems at all with the two modules I'm using.
( [MOD][XPOSED] XHFW3 - floating windows - ver. 3.13 ) and Xposed Module ( Deny Location Consent )

I did have a problem with Gravity Box MM, it combine two of the volumes and I wasn't able to turn down my mail notification volume, it was constantly blaring.

Hmm, everytime I open xposed and click on something in the app, I get a black screen and I need to force my tablet to shut down. Really weird, I didn't have this on the cm 5.1.1 rom.

If you're using BusyBox and restored/install it from Titanium Backup have you updated it? It seems to me that I needed to do this but I've done so many things over the last week I honestly can't remember.

Edit: I did just remember something, are you using the previous build or the current one? on the previous build when I went into Xposed I needed to have my tablet in portrait mode or the same thing you just described was happening to me when I try to run it in landscape mode, then I would need to reboot to sort things out, the latest build doesn't seem to suffer from this problem.

I just updated my tablet and it seems to be fixed. Either way thank you for the information. I mentioned it earlier, but I didn't get any responses :)

You're very welcome, I'm glad you were able to get it sorted out, my apologies I did see your original post but I don't think at the time I realized I could be of any assistance, this whole rooting thing and custom roms is all new to me over the last couple of weeks, I had just gotten 5.1.1 sorted out and then came across this custom ROM and dived in head first, the whole thing's been a little overwhelming at times.

P.S. if anyone wants to know how to remove the creation of the guest user account and the icon as well on this ROM just ask.

Hi... does anyone have Chromecast working on this rom? I was running Tom's 5.1.1 and worked fine. With 6.0 I get not optimised message and a black screen. I get the same when I use the cast option from the settings too. Thanks for any input /help. Dave

I decided to get on board to get compatibility with some graphics apps that required a minimum of 5.1 and very satisfied with the decision. Seems fairly speedy, Bluetooth works just fine, sound is loud on earphones (about 1/3 is quite enough, actually). Only that camera left (for Skype and such).

There might be some rough edges, but generally it seems to work quite well. Hopefully dev work continues.

Thanks again!

Does this ROM provide better battery use guys? Because my note pro has android kitkat I believe(?) or whatever is default and I can see that the battery lasts long if I just leave the device on but the screen turned off. I was expecting way worse. But getting about less than 10% use everyday if I leave it on without using.

How can we split the screen in 2 or in 4 as we did with the old Official Samsung Rom?
Please help
Well this is not a touchwiz based ROM, so you don't have those functions here. However, multi window is under development in CM13. You can try it out now if you want, but it works so-so. You can switch it on in "developer options". If you wanna open two or more windows, you'll find a symbol on your recent app previews. Tap it and you'll get different options on how to open up multiple windows.

Hi @thompatry know your probably busy with loads of other things but was wondering how the development was going. Any news on the idea you had for the camera fix?
I am going to work on it a lot this week. I haven't had time. I was at a competition all week, I had finals this week, I am graduating, and I moving. So life is a hectic right now. I promise you, I will get the camera working. :) thanks for being patient. I haven't forgotten about you guys.

Just switched over from stock and things are looking pretty good. Nice work!

Noticed one problem when I tested LectureNotes: the separate eraser button on the 2-button stylus isn't being detected. When I enable the pointer in the CM input settings, it detects motion for the eraser end of the stylus, but it's not registering the eraser button being pressed. I looked around and it seems the issue is with the palm rejection. It was patched in an earlier CM, but the fix wasn't carried over to CM13.
