Note that with v1 and v2 changing DPI for keyboard is no more needed

For the mass storage problem, I don't know what the problem could be, I'll logcat a lot during my holidays hoping to return home with a solution (and maybe v3)

I think this is a great goal to all of us, for you because of porting the paranoid for our beloved legend, to feed3 for the phone.apk to fix it and some other hints :laugh:, to me for being the official beta-tester and face this problem because it will be useful for everyone now and forever. I give you thanks for posting, once again, i hope its useful to every body. For the mass storage, i'll do my best to search for an answer.

But specially many thanks to you, Alex, without your effort to porting it for our legend i'll never be able to help other too. Thanks!

Ah, one more thing, if you are flashing the v1 over the first release and found the camera its not working all you have to do is set the DPI to 140 and reboot the OS and enjoy it!

for usb storage, i believe it is in services.jar, you might want to compare with the one in my build that i gave to you. if i have some free time later, i will try to see it but right now, my hands are really full even my miui also haven't been updated.

Also edited phone.apk from feed3 gives a lot of graphic problems ( nothing important, just an alarm icon instead of a green phone and so on. I'll see what I can fix and insert the edited apk in v3 ).

Ah, anyone getting errors in refresh of statusbar in tablet mode enabling hardware acceleration? If I'm not the only one, I'll add this to Troubles.

Might be your framework issue. No problem with my port. You might need to rebase your port. See screenshot below.

If the apk is extracted directly from miui, it may use images and other stuff absent in PA framework-res but not in miui's. I'll try to decompile apk and recompile using PA framework. I wish it will be so easy

At first, i thought that the graphic issue you mentioned is the dialer but once i got calls while in pa, then i saw the issue you mentioned.. in my port, the "answering circle" is too small where those 3 icons is too close with each other while using the phone.apk that in cm9 should solve the fc issue, the green answer icon is an alarm icon just as what you said.

Im still in holiday and got some projects in office afterwards and also hands quite full with my miui. If you want, after my holiday, i can post my port here, so you only need to resize the calls slider, clean up the settings.apk a bit from nexus s leftover, thats it.. all other crucial things has been fixed(crucial to me like wifi,data,usb etc).

AOKP is the only ROM absent for our device right now.. Am so happy,definitely different from how i came here some few months back..

Oh, so I really have no idea of what could be the cause. I'll look inside the apk, when I'll have a PC.

Don't bother so much yourself, you have already your miui to update I'll try to solve this alone, it should not be so hard. Also I don't work so my free time is much more really thanks feed3, you're helping a lot here, I wish I could do the same with your miui

Replacing phone.apk with the one edited by feed3 I can still get phone working. Can't find why manual replace is required, I have integrated the apk in v3, and it still does not work...

problem with flashing paranoid android 1.5

It's great seeing some people still having developed the Legend here. Just wanna try this rom, anyway having stuck on bootloop. After searching through the google and trying a lot to flash the rom, I still can not get over this problem at last. This problem happends to CM 9.1/10 Beta too. Please anybody gives me some ideas.....:good::good::good:

Have you wiped everything? Try opening CWM, then mount and storage. From there format everything (boot, system, data, cache, sd-ext BUT NOT sdcard). After that try flashing again the ROM of your choice. It should work.

:good:Thank you for your quick reply, however I have tried your method, but it doesn't work (going to mount and storage and format everything but not SD Card, then flashing the rom). Still the bootloop is shown up from time to time....(do you thiink it's about bootloader Hboot 1.01? ( I haven't unlocked it yet....I downgraded and have it rooted already somehow......or do you have any other suggestions about this issue? :good:

Wait - this ROM is deodexed, so it can take even 10 minutes on first boot to build .dex files. You probably know this, but it is better to say everyrhing

Do you flash only the ROM or something else? By example, Beats Audio gave me infinite boot.

Maybe a fix permissions can help (cwm-advanced).

Sorry, no other ideas... Could you provide more details or even a logcat? (You can take boot log with qtADB ) I'll try to help you as much as I can

Thank once again for your help...actually I'm quite new to the android system...anyway:victory:
Do you mean I have to wait for about 10 minutes while bootlooping....let it bootloops for a while...is that right?
These are my steps of flashing the rom:
1 wipe data factory reset
2 wipe cache
3 wipe dalvik cache
4 format (going to mount and storage and format everything but not SD Card, then flashing the rom)
5 flash the rom
6 flash fixed ICS Gapps
7 reboot system......That's all I have done.....
then.....bootloop........

As for the boot.log...is it this one attached herewith I've got it from Qtadb......Or something else....Could you please specify the directory where I can get it?....is it in \system\bin?
