My battery is being drained very fast. I think it has to do with the excessive ram usage as I even replaced my battery. Please fix this. Also, two features are missing on this rom: Google screen calling assistant and a Google assistant bubble at the bottom of the screen on the ambient screen. Thanks. Please fix the high ram usage. If possible release the update through the update thing in settings. It would be more convenient, and I would not have to reinstall all my apps.

That's a lot of requests. You can dirty flash the rom to update so you won't have to reinstall apps.

I was thinking of starting android source development in order to further modify the Pixel3ROM, but I don't know if I have high enough specs.
My specs:
- Core i5 dual-core 2.3GHz
- 8gb ram
- 238 GB storage, but I only have about 130 GB left.
- x64 system.

ROM wiped all my data

Be careful with this rom. When I've had mobile network problem again, I tried to restart the phone. And it just said "password was correct, but we've had some error, trying to decrypt your data", or something like that. And than just wiped all my data with factory reset

Back up, now (if you have anything left). That is often a sign of a bad eMMC chip, and is nothing to do with the ROM (it's the encryption)

No, nothing left. Not such a problem in my case, actually. I don't keep to much locally. But sad that it happened anyway.

Maybe you are right, but I used this phone for 2+ years, and I've hadn't a single problem with official roms

Also with this rom phone reboots all the time, when I'm trying to make WiFi hotspot.

So, this rom is just full of bugs. There is so much that doesn't work correctly. It's really hard to use.

There's no ver 2.0 for Pixel3 yet(?). I would've known I check this thread everyday. You mistaken with the previous Pixel2 rom versions perhaps?

I understood post #49 that there is a ver 2.0 ready.

I see. I take it you're not familiar with the development. It started with PixelROM changed to Pixel2ROM and later changed to the now Pixel3ROM. The ver 2.0 you see is from the previous PixelROM on its early development. The latest release you see at the download post is the Pixel3ROM ver 1.0 in October and developer is yet to update in November.

I would like to report usb related bug in which it'll reboot when I select file transfer when wanting to transfer files from my pc to the phone since I haven't seen anyone reporting it. The phone also reboots when changing the hotspot name and password. I'll try to provide log if necessary

I tried to install the rom with twrp bootloader.
I wiped the data and the cache, and then I installed the Pixel3ROM_bullhead-OFFICIAL-v1.0oct-20181101.zip with the bootloader.
The installation had no error-messages, but when I rebootet I got the message that my data are corrupt an a factory reset was requested.
After factory reset my phone runs, but with the factory image.

Was this the right method to install it?

You need to flash the recovery first by twrp recovery
and Go to the recovery area and flash it there
