To tell you the truth dude, Calkulin's GB 3.0 build is what to build on.
He already has music skip mod, modified camera, tweaks and a bunch of other stuff I can't recall and it is already stock with no theming.
Speaking of theming, good luck trying to figure that out... GB layouts are light years different than both ICS and JB builds. I can't even remember it all anymore. I still have a bunch of mods that I did for his build too including an extended toggles mod and modified KoBridge tweaks for GB which are still posted throughout his GB thread.

I second what td is saying for sure...I am on the GS4 now but calks ROM is the ultimate GB build for the GS2...I tried lots of ROMs while I was on the GS2 and if you're interested in speed, stability, battery life, and can do without the fancy features of ICS or JB then calks GB is the way to go. I love my GS4 but I do miss getting 2-3 days runtime out of my GS2 running calks. And with the stock size battery too! I wish very badly that there was a ROM as good as calks for my phone...for now I'm just running stock with tweaks. Old is gold my friend

Edit: don't think I'm hating on Blazer btw...it is pretty much tied with Calks ROM in my book! GB was/is my favorite OS for loads of reasons...I think if my girlfriend didn't get me the GS4 for my birthday I would be running my GS2 until the solder points started to come undone haha

What I would really like to do is just move the 3G next to WiFi in the toggles so I don't have to scroll....

I just came back to the Epic 4g Touch forums to look around... It's been a while. Holy crap, I sure missed a lot. I remember when people were trying to crack Jelly bean... Oh man.
