Features
Right now you are gonna find a mixed StatiX/AOSP experience as this is a brand new project:

  • Spark Settings Panel introduced.

  • Always-On Display

  • Advanced reboot

  • Dark mode and accent theming

  • Statusbar battery styles

  • Quick unlock

  • SELinux Enforcing

  • Q Features

  • Upstreamed to latest Linux stable

There's obviously more, but I'm not gonna list every one. Flash and find out! :)

Known Issues:
Squeeze sensitivty is reversed. This will be fixed at some point, but not something that's exactly high priority.

Installation:
Flash using TWRP.

First, factory reset.
Flash ROM
Reboot and enjoy

Downloads

Jenkins will upload to here.

Notes
This will be the release cycle.

Nuclear updates are builds are signed with test-keys and will be released bi-weekly/weekly. These may also include some changes from our Gerrit found at https://review.statixos.me/ or changes I am personally testing.

Official builds will come monthly with each sec patch and will be signed with release keys using our build server. These will be a fresh repo sync with no changes.

Hi all, I'm on the fence waiting to try DU or StatiXOS, and would like to ask whether someone else has tried both and what are the main differences.

Looking around on the web i gather that StatiX has a bit more customization options, but the difference is not too much so I guess the key points here are performance and updates.

Could someone kindly give a little insight on these topics?

Cheers!

Visible is not working with this ROM either. Seems like all of the current ROMs available are unable to run on Visible.

About the camera issue, can it be fixed installing Google Camera in some way (APK or ZIP flash) ?

It looks like a pretty important point in my humble opinion.

Does it have Google camera in the latest release?

Still need to work out PixelGapps. It has a commit to not build it for CAF devices, but it appears that it wasn't done correctly and for Pixel devices it also doesn't build it. For future Nuclear builds I'll change that device side while I fix the commit.

I am no longer maintaining StatiXOS on the 3a or the 3a XL. Builds may or may not continue to be put out on sourceforge, I don't know. Will merge in August stuff, and that's about it. Been fun :)

Closing thread.
