Please can you respond my doubt it is very important...
I would like to have Amber screen but more amber than the night light default maximum value. I want a total red color screen. Total red color temperature .
Is that option available in this custom room? Can it be included for please?

I would like also to invert the colors and simultanly have 1000k temperature.
Thank you

Hello! I have the European variant of the G7 (G710EM), and i'd like to install RR rom. Are there any bugs? Is it a 0.5 second black screen after unlock? The notification led is working? Also, can I use my phone to pay stuff through NFC? (this is very important to me). Thanks!

GSIs still have those bugs but specific custom ROMs don't. Even on custom ROMs don't turn off nfc as it may not turn on back without a restart

It's a bit trickier to install gapps sometimes

- boot to TWRP (if you're already in TWRP restart TWRP after flashing the system image )

- go to wipe > advance wipe > select system > repair or change partition > resize partition

It should go without any problems
After that you can flash gapps through twrp with a zip installation
Could you add this to the OP? it was easy once I found this.

If somebody is flashing EU firmware for Lg G7 Korean version and doesn't have 4g/lte You can chose it manually from network settings --> mobile networks --> network operators --> Your operator: LTE.

But in this ROM works better 3G/4G switch. In Korean ROM I had a lot of missed calls because G7 was too slow with switching from LTE to 3G band (I live in Poland).

Ok, so... I resolved wi-fi problem
- open service mode, dial *#546368#*710#
- field test
- wi-fi test
- ota setting

change country code from BR to JP and click Enable.

Wi-fi is working normal after restart but 4G/LTE is reseting and You have to check it manually again.

Edit:
Solved problem with not connecting to 4g after restart or lost connection/after switching to 3g (after call for example)

Please install VoLTE check and click "Click to know" --> open phone information --> 3 dots in right corner --> Choose radio --> Europe

Now we have to lock network option reseting on reboot so get into Service Menu dial *#546368#*710# --> Field test --> Modem Settings --> PDP Setting --> Block Data Recovery --> Choose Enable and restart phone.

Now You have fully working Wi-Fi and 4G on G7 G710N wit EU ROM.

I think if you flash unlocked firmware on tmobile/metro it will brick your device by the way.
Can you try to do the device unlock app mabye the phone needs to be sim unlocked first then it will be able to flash?

Hoping someone can give me a quick answer here. Was trying to flash Resurrection ROM and it's stuck at the boot screen (the R type logo). Not that big an issue but I can't figure out how to boot into Recovery or Fastboot mode again. I've tried the Vol Down + Power button combo, but that just reboots and I end up in the same place. I've also tried the Vol Down + Power button, release Pwr button, tap once, approach but that just gets me the Factory Reset screen. Can't get the phone to turn off so I can do the plug in USB cable while holding Vol Down shortcut.

Anybody got any help?

Bootloader unlocked, stock Euro Pie flashed and was working, TWRP_pie flashed and working, vbmeta_a.img flashed, vendor_gsi.img flashed. Basically just looking for a way back to Recovery or Fastboot

Edit: Got into Download Mode/Firmware Update mode using the following approach: 1) Connect USB cable to phone and computer. 2) Restart phone with Vol Down + Pwr Button shortcut. 3) Once off, switch to holding the Vol Up button only.

Okay. I've gotten RR ROM + TWRP + Magisk working now, but have two issues: 1) fingerprint scanner doesn't seem to have been detected as there's no option to use it for screen unlock, 2) can't find VoWiFi settings. Am I missing something obvious?

Edit: EU version of phone. Followed steps in guide on first page, then booted once into RR ROM, reboot to recovery, resized partitions, flashed gapps, reboot to OS, installed Magisk Manager, reboot to recovery, flashed latest Magisk, reboot to OS.

Double Edit: Fingerprint scanner suddenly started working/appearing. Vibrate isn't working but I'll try the fix on the front page next. I assume it's okay to use for a ROM that isn't ASOP? If anyone has advice on VoWifi it would be great, but it's not a deal breaker.

I see from a bit more digging it looks like it has to be activated by my cell phone provider as they have to pay LG a licensing fee. No worries. Would just have been handy in some limited situations.
Phone is working well now I must say. Had to spend a bit of time tinkering to get things as I like them but think it's all set now. Battery might be draining a bit faster but it could have been from all the messing with it. I'll keep an eye on it for a week or so.

Thank you very much. I wrote a little Magisk Modul for me cause LED flashing came back after every reboot. For automatic disabling just integrate
echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/red/brightness && echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/green/brightness && echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/blue/brightness
in common/service.sh of Magisk Modul.

Having big battery drain issues on RR ROM. Seems to be a fairly consistent drain that sometimes escalates into red-hot phone drain. Might try AOSP but leaning toward going back to stock at the moment.
