Hello.
Just wanted to tell you, this does not seem to work on the T-Mobile variant of the G7 G710TM, my phone bricked after flashing. Stuck at QS 9008 Mode.

No, nothing, procedure normally walked, and when I finished I did not light up!
It seems that the TM model is a bit different so I added it to the unsupported devices list. You can try fixing it if you know how or send it to LG saying that it failed to update. I'm really sorry but I'm not experienced with 9008 mode at all and I heard that the T-Mobile bootloader is a bit different. Still thank you for bringing this to my attention and I'm really sorry for that. I hope you're able to fix it somehow.
Ah ok, in the device info it shows as ULM model and I also flashed Google Fi kdz file to it though so not sure if this method works. Probably gonna test it and update to you guys when I have time

hold on a second are you saying you basically flashed a Sprint model? I have a Sprint model that's already Sim unlocked, I'm wondering if I can flash this?Dude, thank you SO much for posting this guide.
I was using an Oreo KDZ for Verizon (had to do that sprint to VZ thing to unlock Spint's BS SIM lock) that was loaded with bloatware.
Just flashed over the OPEN KR Pie KDZ and I'm working on restoring from a recent backup (apps/data).
Note to those following part 1 (Stock Pie KDZ) -- DO install the KDZ that is from LG's site, the one with the word "OPEN" in the file name (link was posted on page 8 of this thread). The KDZ originally posted (Google Drive link) is full of bloatware and for me, "app.google.phone" and a few other services kept crashing as soon as it booted.
I do have a question... Will OTA updates work with this "OPEN" KDZ? Or to get latest security updates do I have to do a complete wipe and re-download using LGUP?

When it first boots up, it'll be in Korean, but click on the 1st drop-down and you'll get the language selection. English is one of the first choices.
The Verizon model, regardless of which KDZ is used, will flash just fine, but you will not be able to call or text. However, data DOES work, so if you use something like google voice (which uses data only) for all your calls and texts, then you can run Pie no problem on Verizon model. Just a heads up for anyone on here.
When trying to make phone calls normally it will just tell you that you are not in the service area. Changing the APN, modifying stuff in the phone info menu, plus a ton of other tricks didn't fix this.

Oh I get it. LGUP doesn't recognize the phone as supported. What model is yours?
There were reports of calling and texting not working on LG G7. Is this true?
Not for me but I can't guarantee that for every model.
Edit: I mean that it works and I never had that problem

DO not try this on T-mobile Model, Because T-mobile model use a different RSA signature.
Hey guys, real experience with flash stock pie on G710-EM version? Any trouble and bugs. I have UK distribution and mobile operator T-Mobile CZ.
My phone is EM and it works. Also confirmed from J0SH1X and Sellerie. No other bugs other that the ones listed at the second post.
Can't download properly vbmeta_a.img

How do I fix that?
