Xiaomi Mi Note 10
Hi Tribunal,
I saw, that our lovely Mi Note 2 is not available in the official device list for bootleggers. I'm very afraid, that you may not support it anymore and hope, I'm wrong.
Please continue your builds and let me know, if we can help you.
My hope dies last, I hope that our device will live much longer. With and because of you.
Sincerly, your Fredenmaker from Bremen, Germany.

Update bootleggers

Good night friends!
Why is the best ROM (BOOTLEGGERS) for Xiaomi Mi Note 2 not getting more updates?

This is without a doubt the best ROM for our MI NOTE 2.

I ask that the Developer scorpio continues with this project and update this ROM to Android 10

The rom becomes very unstable and laggy for me after few days of usage, I love the rom, but the performance issues always force me to switch back to miui :(
anyone else having superb performance at first, but after 2-3 days awful?

Why did this project stop for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2?
This ROM is simply the best I've tested to date.

Dude the developer has stopped updating all the builds he did for scorpio for a long time now...
The Mi Note 2 is even EOL (end of life) from new miui updates, so from a devolper aspect i think it's useless to keep working on it.
Maybe he has a new device or just doesnt want to wok on the Mi Note 2 anymore. Sure it's sad as almost all his roms were relly good especially bootleegers but that's how it is.
If you want something updated for scorpio, the only option is Pixel Experience which is rly good too.

Sorry guys, but not read here for long time.

There will sadly be no more updates, as the screen of my phone got broken. So I switched to a new phone.

Sad, but true, was a nice time with the Note 2 and the community here!

If anyone has a broken phone with working screen, ping me, and I will take a look to continue.

So bye bye here...

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".

Using the stability and compatibility of GZOSP, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpaper (Dawn by fxckingdeathwish), ringtones, and fonts, to bring to your device into a more fresh look, also with a selection of apps, header packs and wallpapers (on ShishuWalls app).

Also, we got our Google+ Community and our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM and share some love if you wish!

Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.

    Code:
Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.

Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.

Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Q: Do you have any Telegram/G+ Group to chat and share stuff of the ROM?
A: Check the first paragraphs, you'll find it

    Anyway, the same question everytime.
    Which scorpio firmware to use...??
I always have this doubt, cause the code is not free right? so... how can I see the real thing
I have to try every single firmware and test the performance? cause sometimes I have the feel that wifi burns with one firmware and with another there is low signal... etc etc.
Someone can iluminate me? maybe Im saying nonsense, im not in this type of development. Just a lost user...

I have used same firmware on 4.0 and 4.1 :
