Worked, but gapps installation failed. First I get: "Signature verification failed Install anyway?" I say yes. -> E:Error in /sideload/package.zip (Status 70). I used these gapps: "open_gapps-arm64-9.0-nano-20191029.zip"
Here is what google says

If you look back through the thread you will see a lot of discussion about gapps. I've never had any luck with opengapps. I used mindthegapps without issue. I don't know if this is an essential step, but after a failed gapps flash I booted TWRP again and started over so everything was nice and clean.

Thanks, I flashed the gapps successfully with the temporary twrp via sideload. Now it seems to work. Also i tried to install an update with the updater. Worked in about 10 minutes. So it looks stable for now.

Has any Verizon user tried newer builds to see if volte got fixed as I don't see anything in the change log since @razorloves made the comment it should be fixed in the next 12 hours. I would just try it myself but have an extremely slow internet connection and would take me over an hour to download the update

Bump

@razorloves
ever since that carrier change was made even when you re-enabled the volte selection my phone has not been working properly on Volte. I was testing los 17 thats why i am only posting now, as only recently returned to los 16.

My gf phone is runnig los pre carrier change and has no issues making calls over lte where as mine will frequently fall back to cdma in the same area, This wouldnt be a huge issue other then in my home area cdma is very weak and lte/volte for calls is near perfect. If you cant revert or somehow further fix that carrier change I am afraid I will have to leave los as not quite ready to jump to los 17 YET

UPDATE: tried many things to get VoIP working on recent builds... All failed... Only way I could get VoIP to work was to restore a full nandroid backup ( system image, vendor image, boot, efs and full data) that had the 9/14 build as a base. VoIP worked immediately after restore. The carrier change that occured the same time as Miracast seems to be directly responsible for the VoIP not working issues.

Is this rom rectify microphone mute issue?

My Microphone has been dead ever since I updated to Stock Pie. Since then I installed LoS 16 it did fix it for a few days then it died again. Seems I probably have a hardware issue though. So take this with a grain of salt. LoS is all I will be ever installing on any of my devices in the future. Battery life is better for sure and smoother than any stock experience I have ever had on this phone. Other than my Microphone issue, love this phone with LoS on it!

Ya, I saw that when it came out. Mine did not have the problem, of course, till after that date in time. More like September of this year. I bought it in Oct. Of 2016 too. Sucks, I don't know if fixing it is worth it or just grabbin a pixel 3 xl. I like this phone to much tho.

Edit: it works over Bluetooth and USB tho, so I can still use the phone just fine with a different mic.

when i boot to this image file my phone stuck on google logo

try many time but failed please help me

Hold down power and volume down to get into bootloader like I mentioned in my first reply. Hard to help you when we have no information on what your steps are ect. Reinstall a different ROM like maybe the Stock Firmware then try to reinstall something else from there.

dear, i already try to flesh the stock rom , and then try to boot into twrp 3.3.0 recovery via fast boot but the phone does not go to twrp recovery, and stock on google, logo, try again and again but same issues.

If you flashed stock using the factory image, then your TWRP would have gotten replaced by Google's stock recovery. Thus, your problem isn't really a TWRP or Lineage issue.
You might try to plug into your computer, boot into fastboot and reflash TWRP and then reflash your favorite ROM.
If that doesn't work, you might need to plug into your computer and reflash the factory image. Then, if your phone does boot, you would need to go through the entire bootloader unlocking, rooting, & flashing process all over again.

Hi. I have installed LineageOS 16 on my Sailfish using the tutorial on LineageOS wiki. I also installed the gapps. Everything works great, however I forgot to install Magisk during installation. Is it possible to install Magisk now? And how can I do it without wiping everything. Ps. I only have LineageOS recovery. Thanks.

Yes, it can be flashed anytime. You can sideload it through lineage recovery or temp boot TWRP to flash it.
