Hi, everybody. It's time to say goodbye. It's been many years since I started building ROMs. Either with the help of some -I don't look at anybody, markus ;)- or looking for info on the internet or help forums.
It has been many hours and material of dedication to bring you some roms for the v30. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
I don't want to get sentimental but I'm sorry it's been so many hours with you. In some things I have helped you and in others you have helped me.
Anyway, a greeting to all and I wish you all the best.

My first try

I hope you will try your rum for the first time, I hope it will not cause me any problems because this is the one I haven't tried and there are a few more. I am not a beginner, I tried maybe 15 different rums but couldn't find the best one for this nethunter. I don't have the financial situation to change the phone, actually I need to buy oneplus for nethunter, but they are also high priced. Anyway, that's not our topic. I had a chance to try it out for the Rom and after I check it, it will give you feedback. Thank you.:(:iyi:

If something so customized like Nethunter doesn't work on on LOS ROM, it's not going to work on any others. These ROMs are all based on LOS and just have different features and options, but underneath they are still LOS-based ROMs. Yes, you will have difference between LOS-16 (Pie) and LOS-17 (Android 10) as those are different OS versions, but jumping from various flavors of LOS-17 to others won't solve a problem. UNLESS it's been solved in the parent LOS tree and an older LOS-17 based ROM just has not been updated yet.

In the opening paragraph, the Nethunter website says it works with Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 10 or OnePlus One.

So, why not just enjoy a regular custom ROM and stop trying to force something that is not meant to be?

The most recent ROM for V30 LOS-17 posted in this forum is probably Havoc, I think. There are others which stay updated but are found in the Telegram thread.

Installed this on a US998, but no sound at all (tried selecting ringtones etc, playing a video, playing an mp3, youtube, rebooting, reflashing). Any solutions?
I would really really love for this to work because it's the first ROM after 5-6 of them which has a working camera. Thanks in advance.

Same issue as with Havoc:

Ok, so I installed ROM and opengapps and selected language, pressed start, up comes "just a sec" and then it soft resets and then up pops "just a sec" and then soft resets again and continues this cycle. Can't get further

Edit: OK, need to be running rooted stock Pie before running right??
Can I flash TWRP flashable version or I need to use LGUP to install first?

You can use twrp flashable zip
Also try using alternate gapps like Nikgapps

OK, updated to Pie, via flashable zip, tried Nikgapps and opengapps, same issue as before with both this and Havoc: soft resets around 30 seconds after selecting language and pressing next (with nikgapps screen both Roms just come up with a blackscreen with the navigation bar at the bottom and then soft resets). Can't get any further, no magisk installed or anything else. I formatted data before install in both cases.

Any suggestions??

Anyone?? Do you think flashing via LGUP will make much difference compare to flashing the TWRP flashable firmware?

    Version 3.1.7+12 Changelog

    POSP v3.1.7+12 Changelog:

    - Yet again (i know boring) we merged the latest security patches, april ones to be clear. I know it's not really epic but you need them for keeping your device safe.
    - Finally cool stuff, added more statusbar customizations, such as battery styles and clock controls, and now you can also open the statusbar tuner from fries.
    - Speaking of fries, it's got a new super cool redesign to match other potato apps (well, in the future, rn every app got the old boring style, but we gotta start from somewhere don't we).
    - Still speaking of fries (sigh), it won't reload anymore starting from this release (nvm the sigh, stuff is cool). This means that now you can spam change icon shape and it will do so without trowing you back to initial page.
    - Previous security patch merge yeeted out the permission hub and bt battery level, we now readded them and we'd really like if google wouldn't remove them anymore (smh google).
    - Screenshots got a spice up and you can now take them by either clicking the buttons (which is immediate this time around!) or by just swiping three fingers on your screen.
    - We got a new bootanimation, which is in the same style as the new wallpaper, thanks alot @valvze for making this epic animation, really cool!
    - If you got a supported device (who knows), you will get your insecure unreliable face unlock! Hooray! It's really up to you to use it, we really don't mind as long as you don't come to us crying saying that a random stranger unlocked your phone with his face.
    - Fixed some QS color conditions so the disco won't appear when it shouldn't.
    - About disco, it's now back (or is it?), tho this time around it's playing hide and seek and you gotta search carefully else you won't ever get it back (or will you?)

    Changelogs Q

    POSP v3.2.1+17 Changelog:

    - The 3 Mode notch-hider just got way better! Immerse mode is completely fixed and improved.
    - We also added the cool 3 mode (original unmodified, coughs) notch animation in Fries!
    - You can now adjust corner radius and content padding in Fries, just like the good old days!
    - July security patch has been merged too.
    - Back and IME buttons in full screen navigation have been fixed too! Thanks for letting us know about the issue :D
    - We also fixed call recording for a few more devices :eyes:
    - The nasty SystemUI crashes with custom volume panels have also been fixed!
    - Some random crashes with TiledPanel have also been addressed in this release.

You have a point, when people seeming claim to add hardware features to a device. V30 doesn't have LED for notifications. I'm curious to hear explanation

What level of attention will they bring to a ROM when they overlook easy stuff like that? It may be an excellent ROM, but things like that raises suspicion.

On another device (Moto Quark), one guy kept porting ROMs and doing the copy and paste thing -- falsely claiming features which were impossible for that phone (like FM radio). I had to keep calling him on it, and he soon lost interest as he didn't even own that device. I hope that doesn't happen here. More ROMs are welcome.

Dont understand one thing... Why for the sake of it op dont say whats working and whats not. Therefore making it for users more friendly...instead of going through 100 pages...

Aka is dac working? Is whatsapp audio broken? Fm radio function? And much more...

I just wonder if there is any chance say whats not working...or are you just testing water and wanna people to figure that out...

    Thank you kindly

Seems all like just copy paste generic topic....

Aka led light changes in miscellaneous..and more thats nor related to lg v30 at all

You're right. I have just deleted the LED Feature as we all already know the V30 doesn't have it.
It's the first time I share a build from me so I beg you to be kind with me

On the other hand I have 2 posts reserved for faqs and features I dindn't finished because of my children. They want me to play with them with the Christmas gifts... In half an hour (i hope) i could update the reserved posts with all the information and of course, with the working (and not working) features.

    Anyway, thx for trying :)
