I've heard great things about this ROM, can't wait to try Just a few questions, sorry I haven't flashed anything since my OP3t. Which version of the latest Stock Rom will I flash? The latest is technically android 11 and this is an android 10 ROM, I would flash the very last/latest android 10 Factory update correct? I'm currently running 11 so I'm sure I will have to at least downgrade before flashing this. Also, I see in the instructions I have to boot to TWRP and then after flashing the ROM, to flash TWRP. After flashing the ROM requires another flash of TWRP? Sorry if these are stupid questions, just want to make sure I understand completely.

Yes correct you have to flash latest android 10 Factory ( August )

About TWRP
Just boot to twrp after flash original android 10
Then flash PIXELDUST then flash TWRP before reboot ..
After first reboot you can flash MAGISK if you want

thank you for the response!! after some soft bricked downgrading I was able to get the ROM running, but when I boot into recovery it boots into the pixeldust recovery. can I just flash twrp again from the pixeldust recovery and then flash the magisk zip? or can i flash magisk zip from the pixeldust recovery?

Would the user base rather stay on Android 11 or would you suggest reverting back to Android 10 in order to flash your version of PixelDust?
Flashed your versions for Android 9 and Android 10 on my Pixel 2 XL before and I am thrilled by the way your ROM works.
There are a couple of features I do like on Android 11, though.
Any suggestions by you or the user base?

* Before you are ready to flash this custom ROM, you have to install the latest factory image in order to have the correct bootloader, radio, vendor and so on in place.

I've been using this build since last 2 weeks with 0 issues and would like to take the feedback before adding it to the OP.

Things to note:
- Gapps are included in the build
- All apps which need root to be hidden (e.g. GPay, MS Teams etc) work out of the box
- The device name is Pixel 5a (This is intentional and is needed for few things to work)
- Clean flash the build
- Thank you to @spezi77 for PixelDust and PixelDevTeam for their work on taimen and gapps

Download ongoing a little slow - 30mins left. Once it completes then i will give an initial feedback from user perspective on apps requiring root to be hidden, Google photos, and any problems if i encounter.
Will be flashing clean over December stock.

Edit Review:
The ROM is very smooth and is fully loaded with PixelDust customizations. Really loved it. No AOSP apps that gives it stock look that I like. The only issue for now is Photos taking up drive space otherwise it feels just perfect for daily use.

Google Photos: Says unlimited for Pixel 4(5g) but is taking up drive space.
Banking and MS apps : Working fine and not detecting root.
Active Edge: Working and fully customizable which is really awesome.

Google released the last December factory image for Taimen 11.0.0 (RP1A.201005.004.A1, Dec 2020) -- just some minor backend fixes at best perhaps.

The photos app is taking space for original quality. For high-res its just fine. For now I think only Proton and Lineage 18.1 has the photos working perfectly for original photo quality and i see both using only 2017 exl xml.

Those additional xmls were not present; but I added them because pixel 2 live wallpapers could not be downloaded. I'll try only with 2017 exl xml and build.
