I'm so excited for this months release my Google Pixel 2XL arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon and I'm patiently waiting for this new update to properly release this month to flash it and if the release comes out however late that's ok I'll still be waiting lots of love to the DEV and the Community

Not until @nitin.chobhe posts....unconfirmed buggy test builds are always there out in the wild...be patient for a tested secure build posted here on XDA
All ROMs for taimen with Jan patch has lag - don't want to post a build which is not up to the mark. Please wait.

Root by flashing latest Magisk.zip in TWRP. Or sideloading same. Easy peasy!
Check your sim card - I and others are using this build and no one complained about the network issue (and we have 70+ downloads).

After the 3rd flash it started working but now everytime I turn on my phone I have a message that says "there is an internal problem with your device"
No, you need to flash from an Unencrypted folder, sideload in TWRP or from a USB OTG.
@nitin.chobhe +1 for the error even Im getting it after every restart.
But fortunately, mine started working from the 1st flash. Is it still neccessary to have/flash taimen factory image prior to flashing PD13 build? Because I formatted data and wiped in TWRP before copying it to sd card and then flashing it via TWRP.

I have an issue when i try to install the latest release PixelDust-Tiramisu-aosp-taimen-user-20230204-1540.zip with TWRP or sideload it using the procedure in the 1st post.
- Flashed in both slots the factory image (tried RP1A.201005.004, Oct 2020 and RP1A.201005.004.A1, Dec 2020)
The initial post say to use the latest image from Oct 2021 ¿?
- Then, booted TWRP (tried with diffrent versions), format data and try to install the zip file (tried with USB OTG, adb sideload and copying the zip to /sdcard with MTP) Every try returns the error:

- the recovery from factory image (failed due zip file is unsigned) and
- the recovery from PixelDust (PixelDust-Tartufo-caf-taimen-userdebug-20221025-1835) but "Error 7" appears.
I don't have any problems flashing PixelDust-Tartufo-caf-taimen-userdebug-20221025-1835.zip .
EDIT: Fixed repartitioning the device. Flashed with TWRP via sideload the "Product Partition Extended - Pixel 2 XL" file located in pixelexperience website. Maybe a reference with the repartitioning method in the procedure located at the first post could help.

Yes, I also saw this message - for now just ignore it; I'll try and fix it. Elixir has fixed it and I've asked for the fix in their thread.

I found the fix, the error will be gone in next build (I'm not yet sure about when that new build would come, but it is definitely on cards).
As mentioned in the past, the error can be safely ignored.

Its a known issue,just turn off that song recognition thing in settings/sound&vibration/now playing and turn it off...21
I was getting the same error coming from stock because I did not flash the repartition zip before flashing this ROM. that's what I did for the successful installation
1) unlocked bootloader
2) Flashed image file of Twrp in the fast boot and pushed zip file of TWRP via ADB and installed the Zip which installed TWRP to both boot slots.
3) adb side loaded re-partition ZIP and installed it then formatted data in wipe
4) Flash Pixel dust ROM and TPRP ZIp -
