When I try to install it according to the manual on the first page, I get a error when copying the rom via ADB:

"no space left on device"

I tried the following commands:

- adb push PixelDust-Tiramisu-aosp-blueline-user-20221004-2234.zip /
- adb push PixelDust-Tiramisu-aosp-blueline-user-20221004-2234.zip /sdcard

Somebody has an idea?

UPDATE: It worked via adb sideload (alternative way described in first post)

Hi there,

No solution but I just wanted to let you know that the same problem occured to me with the latest TWRP coming from Google's stock ROM.

I think it broke something after I clicked on "format data" (step 8). Just like you I tried copying it to root ( / ) and /sdcard, neither of which worked, at about 90% copy progression it claimed that there is no space left.

I ended up copying the files using the OS.

Thank you for supporting this device spezi! I previously tried LineageOS which is pretty unstable, your ROM however works like a charm!

This ROM is great, everything is working flawlessly.

The only small "problem" I have had so far is the UI in light mode, shouldn't the text in the quick settings be lighter? The searchbar in the app drawer also looks kinda odd...

Is this ROM related, or a general Android 13 problem? It's definitely a minor issue, I'm very happy with the ROM so far!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We're going to fix this in an upcoming release.

Cheers for the ROM! I'm having issues with private dns and vpn. Wondering if anyone can reproduce :

1. Dns:
- setting network > private dns hostname (I tried dns.adguard-dns.com, dns.quad9.net, 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com)
- disabling WiFi (the issue occurs only on 4g for me)
- browsing the Web: I then have issues to most websites (address unreachable, dns probe error,...)
- switching back to network dns automatic and the failing sites works fine

2. Vpn:
- on 4g again, connecting to a vpn times out

Curious if it's just me before providing logcats (searching how to as I write ^^)

This is a super niche question, but will KVM be enabled in the stock kernel or will I have to install an alternate kernel to get KVM to work? I haven't played much with custom roms before (and I know adding KVM on top is like a niche within a niche). Any info would be appreciated!

has the ROM already been tested on EU devices?
I seem to have problems with the GSM modem. SIM card is not recognized, I have then tested eSIM, but that can not be activated, i got a error message if i try it. Also it sometimes crashed the SIM card app.
With ´the latest stock firmware the eSIM works fine.

Please ignore. I remembered that shortly after flashing the ROM I installed magisk. Without Magisk it works.

Hi, thanks for your hard work. It's running butter smooth on my pixel 3. However I found some bugs while navigating system settings.

1. Can't switch career once activating e-Sim on setup wizard.

2. In Google Account active sessions, the device name showing Huawei Nexus 6P.

This isn't working for me. Please help.

On A12, service started going out completely. It was unstable for a few weeks, then at some point, service wouldn't connect at all. No voice, no data.

I switched to A13. Calls work again, but still no data. It won't provision. It won't activate. It won't connect to LTE data. And ConnMo or OemDMTrigger crash when it tries.

Update, this happens even on the latest stock. I have to go back a version earlier. Something that happened this summer made the Pixel not be able to activate on Xfinity Mobile. I'm going to talk to Comcast about it. But I'm worried they might not be able to help. Then I'd be stuck using older versions. I don't know why Google would have broken Xfinity. That makes no sense.

Thank you so much for the updates, bring A 13 to the lovely pixel 3.

One question about unlimited photo storage: the unlimited storage for pixel 3 had ended. how can you ensure that our "precious" photos won't be deleted by google because of "fake devices"? I am always worried about it and didn't dare to use Google photo unlimited storage.

    Installation%20guide.png

    Pre-requisites:
    * You are familiar with helping yourself out of awkward situations. You won't defame or complain at the developer of this ROM for your misfortunes.
    * You are familiar with using fastboot
    * Before you are ready to flash this custom ROM, you have to install the latest factory image from October 2021
    * Bootloader unlocked
    * You have created a backup of your ROM & data

First time installing PixelDust ROM, or coming from another ROM:

YOU MUST HAVE an Android 12 FACTORY IMAGE FLASHED TO BOTH SLOTS BEFORE YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING ROM.

    1. Flashing stock ROM / unlock bootloader (If applicable):
    1. Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#blueline
    2. Boot the stock ROM.
    3. Don't setup any google account, don't add a screen lock. Just go to Settings > System > Developer options. Enable OEM unlocking.
    4. You need to follow this guide to unlock your bootloader.
    2. There are now two options for the installation. Either via TWRP or via Sideload (for advanced users).

    A. Flashing PixelDust ROM via TWRP:

    1. Download the ROM and both TWRP files (img + zip) (for download links see above).
    2. Boot fastboot mode.
    3. Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
    4. Copy twrp-3.6.2_11-0-blueline.img to the platform-tools folder or folder that has fastboot in it and rename it twrp.img.
    5. Open a Command Prompt.
    6. At the Command Prompt type and press enter.
      Code:
       fastboot boot twrp.img
    7. If requested, swipe to allow modifications.
    8. Tap "Wipe", then tap "Format data" and type yes to continue.
    9. Copy the rom zip and twrp-installer-3.6.2_11-0-blueline.zip to your device.
    10. Tap "Install", select the rom zip, tap "Add more Zips", select the twrp-installer.zip and Swipe Slider to install.
    11. When install is successful tap on "Reboot", then tap on the first list item "System".

    B. Flashing PixelDust ROM via sideload:

    1. Download the ROM and boot image (for download links see above)
    2. Boot fastboot mode
    3. Connect the phone to the Computer with USB cord.
    4. Flash the boot image (this allows stock recovery to flash unsigned rom zip)
      Code:
      fastboot flash boot boot_aosp_xxx.img
    5. Wipe userdata (required for first PixelDust/Android 13 install)
      Code:
      fastboot erase userdata
    6. Reboot into fastbootd
      Code:
      fastboot reboot fastboot
    7. Use volume keys and power button to select "Enter Recovery"
    8. Select "Apply Update from ADB"
    9. Sideload the ROM zip
      Code:
      adb sideload PixelDust-Tiramisu-aosp-blueline-user-xxx.zip
    10. Reboot

Dirty flashing PixelDust ROM (coming from a previous PixelDust A13 ROM):
Just skip the step "Format data" / "Wipe userdata"

YOU MUST HAVE RECENT FACTORY IMAGE FLASHED TO BOTH SLOTS BEFORE YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING ROM.
Let me first say that as a user of the PixelDust ROM, I appreciate all that you do! Love it!

With the recent $130 Pixel 3 (64GB in "Not Pink") deal from B&H, I picked up a couple to upgrade some family members, and PixelDust would never replace the latest (June 2021) stock ROM from Google. I figured out that it's because of the both slots thing that it wasn't working. Which is fine - you said it needed to be done - but nowhere did I see it written out how to do this.

So I'm writing out the commands I used. For reference, this worked on three brand new Pixel 3 (Verizon versions, but with the bootloader able to be unlocked) that shipped with the November 2018 build of Android 9.

    Code:
fastboot --slot all flash bootloader bootloader-blueline-XXXX-#.#-#######.img
    fastboot reboot bootloader

    [wait for phone to reboot]

fastboot --slot all flash radio radio-blueline-XXXX-#####-######-X-#######.img
    fastboot reboot bootloader

    [wait for phone to reboot]

    fastboot --set-active=a
    fastboot -w update image-blueline-XXXX.######.###.zip

[wait as it goes through fastbootd and eventually restarts to Android on its own]
    [reboot into the bootloader]

    fastboot --set-active=b
    fastboot -w update image-blueline-XXXX.######.###.zip

[wait as it goes through fastbootd and eventually restarts to Android on its own]
    [reboot into the bootloader]

[flash PixelDust per instructions in the OP]

Essentially, I could flash the bootloader and radio to both slots at the same time, but had to flash the system image to each slot separately.

Maybe this will help someone else!
