I have this problem all the time, I'm gonna have to go back to stock if I can't fix it, which would be a shame. Otherwise everything works fine. I am also on Verizon.
I haven't had this happen. Not sure if it's a Verizon thing or not but I do know if you two can grab a log , start a log before you hang up a call and try and capture this behavior on log and post it, I'm quite sure the developer will check it out. If not it's just useless pretty much.. Not trying to sound like an asshole just speaking the truth.

So I installed the august build, now my screen never turns off. It will only turn black and only show the clock when I press the power button. It never fully turns the screen off. I tried every display setting and it still won't turn off. Also when I get phone calls it gets stuck if I don't answer the call and keeps ringing infinitely then if I try to decline the call it just comes back and if I try to finally pick it up it just goes back to the incoming call screen. I tried reinstalling the phone app and it did nothing. I did a clean install and yes I flashed the correct factory image first. Anyone have any idea if I can fix these problems before I try reflashing?

I've used all these Bliss builds on my coral and have never had anything like you describe here happen.
Just for kicks here's my install process:
Let's say I'm currently on Lineage 18.1 and want to flash Bliss...
1) Boot phone to boot loader mode
2) fastboot flash boot Bliss-boot.img --slot all
3) navigate to recovery mode using volume select it with power button
4) factory reset in recovery
5) adb sideload Bliss-xxxx.zip
6) reboot boot loader
7) fastboot -w
8) reboot system

On updates I do same process only I don't wipe data. If I'm installing a rom that doesn't have gapps after step #5 I reboot boot loader then select recovery mode, and do a: adb side load open-gappsxxxxx.zip. Then reboot system afterwards. The fastboot -w probably isn't necessary but it makes me feel better knowing my phones wiped clean.

I would take a wild guess and say maybe you didn't format data. Wiping data and formatting data are different. Maybe plug in to your PC and do a fastboot -w and reboot afterwards and see if that fixes anything.

I think you accidentally clicked the wrong thread.

The power button issue, I'm not 100% sure on that one, could just be an unfortunate side effect of the flash, but the current build is definitely plagued with a Dialer issue.

I wouldn't bother any troubleshooting asuming you havent fixed it yet. Reset first using the factory firmware from Google directly, wipe data (erase userdata), and follow the process for the ROM install of your choice, then go from there and most likely you are golden again. this is of course assuming its not a device hardware failure, as long as you first factory reset using Google firmware, you will be back in shape.

I know its a pain to reset and rebuild the device to restore everything the way we like it (data/config/SMS/ETC), but sometimes its the safest (and quickest) method, rather than trying to undo damage thats unknown (since it truly could be anything at this point). If it were me, I would copy off everything from internal SD to my PC (assuming you have MTP enabled before this happened), then reset and restore your data. This is the safst and sure-fire method.

Is there anyone else having an issue where the dialer will get stuck on hanging up? It doesn't happen to me every single time, but it happens pretty frequently. Essentially when hanging up a call the dialer will often times get stuck at hanging up showing the notification at the top of the screen. If I try to force close the app it just reopened showing the same screen indicating that it's trying to hang up on the call, and the only way to fix it is to restart. I can't receive any calls when this issues happening nor make any. Any suggestions?

PixelDust ROM is an Android 11 ROM especially built for the current Google Pixel devices and aimed for stability at its core with themes and customizations.

Our philosophy is to offer all the features known from the Google Pixel Factory Images paired with a useful selection of the coolest custom ROM features.

Our project is based off directly from AOSP. We attach great importance to aesthetics, themeability and personalization. For this we have integrated a great selection of space wallpapers and a special theme app (many thanks to Dirty Unicorns for their code base) in the settings of the Android OS.

The PixelDust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.

Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!

    Pre-requisites:
    * You are familiar with helping yourself out of awkward situations. You won't defame or complain at the developer of this ROM for your misfortunes.
    * You are familiar with using fastboot
    * Bootloader unlocked
    * You have created a backup of your ROM & data

First time installing PixelDust ROM, or coming from another ROM:

YOU MUST HAVE AUGUST FACTORY IMAGE!
    1. Flashing stock ROM: Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#coral
    2. Flashing PixelDust ROM:
      • Download the ROM and boot image
      • Flash the boot image (this allows stock recovery to flash unsigned rom zip since we dont have TWRP):
        Code:
        fastboot flash boot boot.img
      • Wipe userdata (required for first PixelDust/Android 11 install):
        Code:
        fastboot erase userdata
      • Reboot into fastbootd:
        Code:
        fastboot reboot fastboot
      • Use volume keys and power button to select "Enter Recovery"
      • Use Power button + volume up to enter Recovery
      • Select "Apply Update from ADB"
      • Sideload the ROM zip:
        Code:
        adb sideload PixelDust-Eleven-aosp-coral-***.zip
      • Reboot
    Dirty flashing PixelDust ROM:

Just skip the step "Wipe userdata"

I recompiled with the latest blobs and stuff and flashed it on my coral. Zero issues.
    I pushed a new build.

If you have any problems atleast try a clean flash after flashing stock before. That worked flawless for me.
