Just switched from stock to Proton. No issues installing or crashes in the past few days. It's working well (had Proton on my Pixel 2), however the touch sensitivity is terrible.
Literally zero touch possible with gloves (thin, touchscreen enabled gloves that work perfectly fine on my iPhone SE2, Pixel 2, Galaxy S6), and I often have to double hit/swipe for it to register my touches.
It feels worse than stock before the Dec Android update, but maybe it is just missing that change. I went looking for the Settings > Display > "Increase Touch Sensitivity" toggle but it is not there.
@kdrag0n can we please boost touch sensitivity by default or enable the toggle?
