More than likely not.I just Installed PortonAOSP and the 5G network is not activated. I thought that if I use a custom ROM I could finally bypass Google restrication over the support of 5G network.
Is there anyway that I could bypass the restrication other than ROOT my Pixel?

I did just to make sure I would pass SafetyNet.I have question...
Should I relock the bootloader after I successfully installed PortonAOSP?
I wouldn't just in case something bad happens and you need to recover your device, you can pass safetynet with the the rom developers safetynet fixI have question...

I thought ProtonAOSP is supposed to pass safetynet out of the box?I wouldn't just in case something bad happens and you need to recover your device, you can pass safetynet with the the rom developers safetynet fix
I have only used this rom once when it first came out so I wouldn't know now but you can use Magisk and flash USNF and pass itI thought ProtonAOSP is supposed to pass safetynet out of the box?
Yeah but using magisk means you cant lock the bootloaderI have only used this rom once when it first came out so I wouldn't know now but you can use Magisk and flash USNF and pass it
I don't think you should lock the bootloader when you have a custom rom installed because if something happens you might not be able to rescue your phone and the only way to update the rom would be to unlock the bootloader again and that causes an automatic factory reset unless kdrag0n has been able to find away to update his rom with a locked bootloader.
GrapheneOS can do it. Difference is they have OTA updatesI don't think you should lock the bootloader when you have a custom rom installed because if something happens you might not be able to rescue your phone and the only way to update the rom would be to unlock the bootloader again and that causes an automatic factory reset unless kdrag0n has been able to find away to update his rom with a locked bootloader.
Right. That being said I wouldn't lock the bootloader. Just root the phone, install riru reboot, install USNF 2.1.1 reboot, delete Google services data, play store data and Gpay data and reboot and hide those apps in the Magisk app and you should pass safetynet
I'm pretty sure ProtonAOSP lets you play with the RGB calibration of the display.Niche question, but does the rom enable users to change the color calibration of the display? Just got my display replaced and the new one has a distinct green hue. Can't seem to change display color calibration beyond the default profiles in stock android, wondering if a custom rom will afford me this feature. Cheers!
Can confirm that ProtonAOSP has RGB adjustment in the settings. (Unrelated---does anybody know what the difference is between the stock color profiles? Cant seem to find a description about which values are being changed)I'm pretty sure ProtonAOSP lets you play with the RGB calibration of the display.
Does this rom have any additional theming options outside of what is provided with stock?
